JCOBB (now Webb) is a Texas native and one of my OG sorority sisters, roommates, best friends, and confidant. We met on spring break our freshman year at A&M and bonded over a healthy balance of wanting to have fun and relax. Jordan is an amazing friend who consistently pours into the people around her and continues to check in even when everyones schedules can be a bit crazy! Not only is she a great friend and adventure buddy, she also is one of the most fashionable people and always has the best eye for design. Her wisdom, friendship, and the countless adventures were a staple of my time at A&M. Despite the inconvenience of being in different states the past couple of years, we've traded off on weekend trips and are never short of making new memories. She has too many talents to count, and you'll see as soon as you get her talking. I like to say J saved me a few times in college with her wiser, more intelligent choices ;) but she truly has been one of the best friends and I'm always grateful for her wisdom and ability to make any event a blast when she's around!
Madison Trivits - Matron of Honor
Madi is my very first friend (aside from Nate who was forced into that at birth and my cousins). We met in Kindergarten (!!) back home, and somehow she's let me tag along and stick with her all these years! We initially bonded over a mutual love of horses and ice cream, and even got to compete at horse shows together during high school. Madi spent some time on the east coast for college and seminary school, which provided a great excuse for a few trips. She has always been a go getter but very humble, she's a perfectionist (in the best way), and sets a high bar for herself and those around her that rarely gets missed. She's an excellent example of what a hard working wife, mom, and friend should look like, and I'm thankful she hasn't let the distance get in the way of our friendship! She's seen me through all of the different chapters in in life, and has continued to be a voice of strength and reason throughout everything! Madi is truly one of the best people to be around and I'm thankful for her consistency in my life.
Madison Miller - Bridesmaid
I finally get to say I have a sister!!! Madison was truly a God send to the family (Nate get's thanked for that one) but really what a huge blessing she's been for the rest of us. Madison is the most easy going, down to earth, loyal and fun person to be around. She's always up for whatever crazy activities Nate has planned (at least in some form of participating) and loves quality family time. Not only is she a great sister (in law) and wife, she's become the most amazing mom to my favorite nephew of all time. It's been a joy to see how she's grown with Nate over the years and she's always someone I can call when I want advice, to chat, or get a recap on college football (trust me she knows her stuff). I am so thankful Nate has such good taste because I could not have asked for a better sister in law and I'm counting down the days (and praying a lot) for when we hopefully won't be states away so I can bug her with hanging out all the time.
Kate Lathrop - Bridesmaid
Here's to my actual twin. We met in high school after I was told repeatedly that there was a girl in the grade below that could be my doppleganger (while we do have quite a few similarities - she's definitely the prettier twin). We ended up meeting through some friends and then found out we both rode horses right down the street from each other and have a ridiculous love for caffeine. Kate is always the girl you want to have around, she's fun, adventurous, and always down for a coffee run. Not to mention a very wise and steadfast friend who is great at reaching out and staying in touch despite the time change and busy schedule. She's an avid equestrian, and I'm hoping I can use the excuse of work or competing to follow her around to different events and watch her succeed. She's always a blast and genuinely one of the most caring and kind hearted people you could be around. Not to mention she's a great dancer and always down for a good time, or a late night coffee run.
Nicole Zimmerman - Bridesmaid
Colie! One of the few friends that has known me for quite awhile and been friends with me through all of the middle school and high school stages. We first got acquainted during middle school and then started taking riding lessons together. Once we got to high school, Colie became my ride or die as we carpooled together which consisted of (almost) a weekly stop at Karen's Bakery for brunch before class. She's a phenomenal friend who is caring, generous, very intelligent, always has your back, world traveler, and is a blast to be around. Just wait for the hip hop music to start playing because she's always down to get out on the dance floor and is a great dancer too.
Kathryn Heath - Bridesmaid
Talk about a good friend and wise beyond their years! Kath may be one of the younger ones in this group but don't let that fool you. She can set the example on how to be a good friend, good cook, excellent shot, or a mustang whisperer any day of the week. A native Californian and family friend, Jordan and I quickly started recruiting her to A&M and Chi O as soon as we could. Thankfully she let us convince her to join us and it was the best addition getting to spend those college years with her as our honorary 5th roommate. She is down to earth, adventurous and truly a loyal friend.
Kora Rowland - Flower Girl
Kora is the cutest most mature 9 year old you will ever meet. I grew up taking riding lessons from her mom, Susanne who is quite possibly one of the best riders out there, a stellar athlete, phenomenal chef / baker, great planner, etc. You name it, she excels at it. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree with Kora who has become quite the equestrian and has already run a (kids) triathlon! I’ve had the joy of watching her grow up over the years, when I’m home, and she is a blast to be around! She shoots it straight, has a great karaoke performance, and is a master in the kitchen. Not to mention, she has one of the most advanced taste palettes I’ve ever seen for someone her age. She’s taken after her mom and is already giving Kath and I pointers when we ride with her! We are excited to have her be part of our day!
Weston Miller - Ring Bearer
Thank goodness for Nate and Madison bringing this blessing into our life!! While he might be the youngest ring bearer ever, he’s most likely not the smallest. This boy is taking after his dad in more ways than one and has been a great little passenger and adventure buddy as he tags along for the ride! He’s highly food motivated (who isn’t) and is always the star of the show when he’s around! It has been a blast getting to see him grow and develop and I couldn’t be happier about RJ and I graduating to the uncle and aunt role!
