The ceremony will take place inside the Devonian Gardens, a beautiful indoor botanical garden located on the fourth floor of The CORE Shopping Centre in downtown Calgary.

If you're driving, here's how to navigate parking and getting upstairs (the Devonian Gardens aren’t hard to find, but there are a few quirks):

🅿️ Where to Park:

Either The CORE Shopping Centre underground parkade or the Holt Renfrew Parkade.

Parking is free for the first three hours with a $2.00 flat rate after.

There are also plenty of lots and street parking nearby. Click here for an interactive map with pricing and real-time availability.

Entrances:

4th Street SW, between 7 Ave and 8 Ave

8th Ave SW, near Holt Renfrew

Take the parkade elevator up to Level 2, the main shopping level. From there, take an escalator or elevator up to Level 4, which is where the Devonian Gardens are located.

⚠️ Note: There are limited elevators/escalators that go all the way to the 4th floor. We strongly recommend using the central escalators or elevators near Holt Renfrew or the food court.

Once on Level 4, follow signs for Devonian Gardens. It’s directly above the food court and wraps around the west end of the mall.

Allow extra time to find parking and make your way upstairs — it can take 10–15 minutes from the parkade to the gardens. The ceremony will start promptly at 2:00pm.

Downtown Calgary has lots of fun activities, from tourist things to bars, restaurants, and sight-seeing (ie; Calgary Tower).

However, all wedding guests get free entry to the Calgary Zoo!

If you'd like to explore, go to the admission gates and tell them you're here for the McCarty & Tang wedding. You'll be allowed to see the exhibits until the reception (the venue is inside Zoo grounds)!

📍 Calgary Zoo - Safari Lodge

🅿️ Where to Park:

The Calgary Zoo North Lot. Parking is a $14 flat rate. If you're arriving by transit, more information is available here.

🏃 Getting to the Safari Lodge

It's a bit of a walk! Consider bringing comfortable shoes. We have a closet to store lots of clothes and accessories so bringing a pair to change into is perfectly okay! The recepton is at the Safari Lodge, marked by the yellow star on the map below.

From the North Lot, proceed through the tunnel, past ticket purchase, to the gates. Let them know you're here for the Rob & Stephanie wedding or McCarty & Tang wedding and you'll be let in! From there, you'll walk along the main path, cross the bridge, take the left-branching path, and the lodge will be on your right.
