What is Island Dressy Casual?

It’s a bit vague, but think semi-formal. We don’t want to be too prescriptive as Toronto summers can be hot and sunny, and we want you to be comfortable.

Also, It might be worth having flat options for footwear as some of the day will be on grass and there is a little walk from the ferry to the venue

How and when should guests RSVP?

The sooner the better. Invites will be emailed with the link to RSVP and a deadline to respond noted. Guests can also RSVP through the page on this website.

If you miss the deadline bring a sandwich and a floaty because you're watching from the lake.

Is the wedding child-friendly?

Yes! Kids are welcome, they'll be lots of lawn games and even a play area for them at the venue.

Can guests take photos during the day?

Absolutely! There may be times we ask guests to leave the photography to the professional, but aside from that, snap away. We just ask that you share them with us, so we all can enjoy them.

What happens if it rains or if there's inclement weather?

The venue has plenty of indoor space in case the weather turns on us.

How are dietary restrictions accommodated?

Please indicate any dietary restrictions in your RSVP and we will do all we can to accommodate for them.

Is there a wedding registry?

Your company on our special day is all we ask. However, if you'd like to give a gift, a contribution to our future adventures would be appreciated.
