In the midst of the challenges that 2020 brought, Robin and Roos found each other in a world grappling with the realities of navigating a pandemic. Robin was living in Rotterdam at the time and Roos in Leiden.

Their connection began virtually, with messages and calls bridging the gap between a world that had just entered lockdown and was filled with new rules and norms never experienced before. The first date, conducted through a WhatsApp video call, was the start of a love story.

Despite the distance between Leiden and Rotterdam, their romance grew. For the initial years of their relationship, Robin and Roos commuted between these cities to be with each other. This involved lots of outdoor activities, whether the beach or at the park as well as many hours spent indoors while waiting for the pandemic and its rules to pass. With just the two of them for company, their bond deepened and their appreciation and understanding for each others company gradually matured. Many hours were spent playing boardgames, watching movies, cooking together and entertaining each other in a time when the old norms were no longer the status quo. This period solidified their bond.

Eventually, after months of commuting and living between two locations, Roos made the bold move to the heart of Rotterdam, where Robin had an apartment. This marked a new chapter in their relationship, as they started to create a home together in the city.

Fast forward to current day where they are happily now living in the suburbs outside the city in their first house bought together, they would love to invite you to join them in celebrating their next chapter and milestone together - their wedding!
