The dress code for our wedding is formal or semi-formal attire including cocktail dresses, long gowns, suits, or dress shirts with ties. The wedding ceremony will be outdoors with the cocktail hour and reception half inside and outside (weather permitting).

We will have the same venue for both the ceremony and reception! The name of the venue is Walnut Hill, and the address is 1804 Carl Williamson Road, Raleigh, NC, 27610. We anticipate having an outdoor ceremony with an open-air reception to follow (weather permitting) in two different spaces of the estate.

Our ceremony and reception are going to be adult-only events so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. While we would love to include everyone, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation due to the venue's capacity.

While you are welcome to stay wherever you like, we have coordinated a hotel block at the Stateview Hotel and the Holiday Inn. We highly encourage guests to stay at the Stateview at a discounted rate. Visit the 'Travel' page for more information and to use our booking links!

Since Walnut Hill is approximately 20 minutes away, we plan to offer a shuttle from the Stateview hotel to the venue and back at the end of the reception. If guests staying at the Holiday Inn need transportation, please let us know and we can arrange accordingly. Alternatively, guests are welcome to drive and park in the designated parking area right next to the venue for free!
