Our Wedding

We&nbsp;met&nbsp;through&nbsp;a&nbsp;mutual&nbsp;friend.&nbsp;At&nbsp;a&nbsp;gas&nbsp;station&nbsp;Kristofer&nbsp;worked&nbsp;at.&nbsp;We&nbsp;became&nbsp;fast&nbsp;friends&nbsp;seeing&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;at&nbsp;friend&nbsp;gatherings&nbsp;and&nbsp;float&nbsp;trips.&nbsp;&nbsp;We&nbsp;stayed&nbsp;friends&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;few&nbsp;years.&nbsp;One&nbsp;year,&nbsp;when&nbsp;we&nbsp;had&nbsp;both&nbsp;become&nbsp;recently&nbsp;single,&nbsp;we&nbsp;started&nbsp;leaning&nbsp;on&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;for&nbsp;support.&nbsp;We&nbsp;got&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;point&nbsp;where&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;hanging&nbsp;out&nbsp;every&nbsp;day.&nbsp;We&nbsp;soon&nbsp;found&nbsp;ourselves&nbsp;moving&nbsp;in&nbsp;together. On&nbsp;our&nbsp;first&nbsp;date,&nbsp;we&nbsp;went&nbsp;star&nbsp;gazing&nbsp;and&nbsp;watched&nbsp;our&nbsp;first&nbsp;moon&nbsp;rise&nbsp;ever&nbsp;together.&nbsp;Though&nbsp;we&nbsp;did&nbsp;not&nbsp;speak&nbsp;on&nbsp;it&nbsp;right&nbsp;away,&nbsp;this&nbsp;was&nbsp;the&nbsp;night&nbsp;we&nbsp;both&nbsp;knew&nbsp;we&nbsp;wanted&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;with&nbsp;each&nbsp;other.&nbsp;We&nbsp;had&nbsp;many&nbsp;great&nbsp;dates,&nbsp;from&nbsp;going&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;aquarium&nbsp;to&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;hiking&nbsp;trips.&nbsp; All&nbsp;I&nbsp;wanted&nbsp;for&nbsp;my&nbsp;38th&nbsp;birthday&nbsp;was&nbsp;to&nbsp;pick&nbsp;a&nbsp;place&nbsp;off&nbsp;our&nbsp;adventure&nbsp;list&nbsp;and&nbsp;go!&nbsp;Kristofer&nbsp;took&nbsp;it&nbsp;upon&nbsp;himself&nbsp;to&nbsp;plan&nbsp;an&nbsp;amazing&nbsp;day&nbsp;of&nbsp;hiking&nbsp;through&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;Elephant&nbsp;Rock&nbsp;and&nbsp;then&nbsp;going&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;fun&nbsp;swim&nbsp;at&nbsp;Johnsons&nbsp;Shut&nbsp;In.&nbsp;Little&nbsp;did&nbsp;I&nbsp;know,&nbsp;but&nbsp;Kris&nbsp;had&nbsp;a&nbsp;plan&nbsp;to&nbsp;propose&nbsp;on&nbsp;this&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;day.&nbsp;First&nbsp;stop&nbsp;was&nbsp;Elephant&nbsp;Rock.&nbsp;Kris&nbsp;was&nbsp;super&nbsp;nervous&nbsp;but&nbsp;just&nbsp;started&nbsp;to&nbsp;tell&nbsp;me&nbsp;his&nbsp;feelings&nbsp;for&nbsp;me&nbsp;when&nbsp;I&nbsp;started&nbsp;wailing&nbsp;in&nbsp;pain!&nbsp;I&nbsp;dropped&nbsp;quickly&nbsp;to&nbsp;my&nbsp;knees&nbsp;and&nbsp;pulled&nbsp;up&nbsp;my&nbsp;pant&nbsp;leg&nbsp;to&nbsp;reveal&nbsp;a&nbsp;small&nbsp;hole&nbsp;where&nbsp;I&nbsp;had&nbsp;just&nbsp;been&nbsp;stung&nbsp;by&nbsp;a&nbsp;red&nbsp;wasp!&nbsp;Kris&nbsp;sat&nbsp;with&nbsp;me&nbsp;until&nbsp;the&nbsp;pain&nbsp;subsided.&nbsp;It&nbsp;still&nbsp;hurt&nbsp;a&nbsp;bit&nbsp;throughout&nbsp;the&nbsp;day,&nbsp;but&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;able&nbsp;to&nbsp;have&nbsp;an&nbsp;amazing&nbsp;day.&nbsp; Needless&nbsp;to&nbsp;say,&nbsp;me&nbsp;being&nbsp;stung&nbsp;made&nbsp;it&nbsp;hard&nbsp;for&nbsp;Kris&nbsp;to&nbsp;work&nbsp;up&nbsp;the&nbsp;nerve&nbsp;to&nbsp;attempt&nbsp;to&nbsp;continue&nbsp;the&nbsp;proposal.&nbsp;We&nbsp;finished&nbsp;the&nbsp;day&nbsp;and&nbsp;had&nbsp;a&nbsp;lovely&nbsp;trip&nbsp;to&nbsp;return&nbsp;home.&nbsp;Before&nbsp;going&nbsp;home,&nbsp;we&nbsp;stopped&nbsp;at&nbsp;his&nbsp;brother's&nbsp;house,&nbsp;and&nbsp;by&nbsp;this&nbsp;time,&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;around&nbsp;11pm&nbsp;and&nbsp;very&nbsp;dark&nbsp;outside.&nbsp;As&nbsp;we&nbsp;got&nbsp;out&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;car,&nbsp;Kris&nbsp;told&nbsp;me&nbsp;he&nbsp;had&nbsp;one&nbsp;more&nbsp;surprise&nbsp;for&nbsp;me&nbsp;and&nbsp;dropped&nbsp;to&nbsp;one&nbsp;knee.&nbsp;He&nbsp;was&nbsp;so&nbsp;nervous&nbsp;he&nbsp;quickly&nbsp;told&nbsp;me&nbsp;his&nbsp;feelings&nbsp;for&nbsp;me&nbsp;and&nbsp;held&nbsp;up&nbsp;a&nbsp;box&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;ring&nbsp;in&nbsp;it,&nbsp;which&nbsp;I&nbsp;couldn't&nbsp;see&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;dark,&nbsp;and&nbsp;then&nbsp;quickly&nbsp;stood&nbsp;up.&nbsp;I&nbsp;smiled&nbsp;and&nbsp;just&nbsp;said&nbsp;yes&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;giggle.&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;overjoyed! It&nbsp;may&nbsp;seem&nbsp;not&nbsp;the&nbsp;most&nbsp;glamorous&nbsp;or&nbsp;organized&nbsp;proposal&nbsp;to&nbsp;some,&nbsp;but&nbsp;I&nbsp;wouldn't&nbsp;have&nbsp;it&nbsp;any&nbsp;other&nbsp;way!&nbsp;&nbsp;It&nbsp;went&nbsp;just&nbsp;how&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;supposed&nbsp;to&nbsp;go.&nbsp;And&nbsp;it&nbsp;gave&nbsp;us&nbsp;a&nbsp;great&nbsp;story!&nbsp; It&nbsp;fit&nbsp;us&nbsp;so&nbsp;well.&nbsp;How&nbsp;much&nbsp;we&nbsp;love&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;that&nbsp;we&nbsp;still&nbsp;get&nbsp;nervous&nbsp;from&nbsp;time&nbsp;to&nbsp;time.&nbsp;How&nbsp;things&nbsp;go&nbsp;awry&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;most&nbsp;comical&nbsp;ways.&nbsp;And&nbsp;how&nbsp;things&nbsp;never&nbsp;go&nbsp;just&nbsp;perfect&nbsp;for&nbsp;us&nbsp;or&nbsp;just&nbsp;how&nbsp;we&nbsp;plan&nbsp;them,&nbsp;but&nbsp;has&nbsp;the&nbsp;best&nbsp;way&nbsp;of&nbsp;working&nbsp;out&nbsp;and&nbsp;us&nbsp;being&nbsp;better&nbsp;for&nbsp;it.&nbsp;We&nbsp;are&nbsp;so&nbsp;perfectly&nbsp;imperfect&nbsp;and&nbsp;beautifully&nbsp;flawed&nbsp;and&nbsp;loving&nbsp;every&nbsp;inch&nbsp;and&nbsp;minute&nbsp;of&nbsp;it!&nbsp; We&nbsp;are&nbsp;honored&nbsp;that&nbsp;you&nbsp;are&nbsp;coming&nbsp;to&nbsp;celebrate&nbsp;our&nbsp;union&nbsp;and&nbsp;love.&nbsp;&nbsp;We&nbsp;continue&nbsp;grow&nbsp;together&nbsp;every&nbsp;day&nbsp;and&nbsp;can't&nbsp;wait&nbsp;to&nbsp;take&nbsp;the&nbsp;next&nbsp;step&nbsp;for&nbsp;our&nbsp;life&nbsp;together!&nbsp;Thank&nbsp;you&nbsp;for&nbsp;celebrating&nbsp;with&nbsp;us&nbsp;whether&nbsp;in&nbsp;person&nbsp;or&nbsp;through&nbsp;loving&nbsp;thoughts&nbsp;and&nbsp;well&nbsp;wishes!

Jessica Padilla

Leo&nbsp;is&nbsp;one&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;bridesmaids.&nbsp;She&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;MOH,&nbsp;Jessica,&nbsp;are&nbsp;best&nbsp;friends,&nbsp;and&nbsp;they&nbsp;met&nbsp;the&nbsp;bride&nbsp;the&nbsp;same&nbsp;night&nbsp;together.&nbsp;The&nbsp;three&nbsp;of&nbsp;them&nbsp;became&nbsp;quick&nbsp;friends&nbsp;and&nbsp;were&nbsp;spending&nbsp;much&nbsp;time&nbsp;together.&nbsp;Their&nbsp;friendship&nbsp;is&nbsp;like&nbsp;that&nbsp;of&nbsp;siblings.&nbsp;Though&nbsp;adult&nbsp;life&nbsp;can&nbsp;be&nbsp;a&nbsp;struggle,&nbsp;and&nbsp;they&nbsp;may&nbsp;not&nbsp;get&nbsp;to&nbsp;see&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;as&nbsp;they'd&nbsp;like,&nbsp;they&nbsp;always&nbsp;have&nbsp;the&nbsp;best&nbsp;time&nbsp;when&nbsp;they&nbsp;can&nbsp;get&nbsp;together.

Liv&nbsp;is&nbsp;one&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;bridesmaids.&nbsp;She&nbsp;has&nbsp;a&nbsp;very&nbsp;bubbly&nbsp;and&nbsp;optimistic&nbsp;attitude.&nbsp;She&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;living&nbsp;embodiment&nbsp;of&nbsp;validation&nbsp;therapy&nbsp;and&nbsp;is&nbsp;just&nbsp;the&nbsp;sweetest&nbsp;human&nbsp;being.&nbsp;Liv&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;long-standing&nbsp;member&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;groom's&nbsp;friend&nbsp;group.&nbsp;When&nbsp;the&nbsp;bride&nbsp;began&nbsp;dating&nbsp;the&nbsp;broom,&nbsp;she&nbsp;was&nbsp;soon&nbsp;introduced&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;friend&nbsp;group.&nbsp;Liv&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;bride&nbsp;became&nbsp;fast&nbsp;friends&nbsp;who&nbsp;are&nbsp;always&nbsp;excited&nbsp;when&nbsp;they&nbsp;get&nbsp;to&nbsp;see&nbsp;each&nbsp;other.

Liv Bricker

Katie&nbsp;is&nbsp;not&nbsp;only&nbsp;a&nbsp;bridesmaid,&nbsp;but&nbsp;she&nbsp;is&nbsp;also&nbsp;the&nbsp;sister&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;groom.&nbsp;Katie&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;groom&nbsp;are&nbsp;very&nbsp;close,&nbsp;as&nbsp;she&nbsp;is&nbsp;with&nbsp;all&nbsp;her&nbsp;brothers.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Katie&nbsp;accepted&nbsp;and&nbsp;treated&nbsp;the&nbsp;bride&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;sister&nbsp;very&nbsp;soon.&nbsp;But&nbsp;only&nbsp;after&nbsp;grilling&nbsp;the&nbsp;bride&nbsp;a&nbsp;little&nbsp;as&nbsp;any&nbsp;good&nbsp;sister&nbsp;would&nbsp;do.

This&nbsp;is&nbsp;Jonny&nbsp;our&nbsp;bestman.&nbsp;Jonny&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;youngest&nbsp;brother&nbsp;to&nbsp;Kristofer.&nbsp;Although,&nbsp;by&nbsp;looking&nbsp;at&nbsp;them,&nbsp;many&nbsp;think&nbsp;they&nbsp;are&nbsp;twins.&nbsp;Jonny&nbsp;and&nbsp;Kristofer&nbsp;have&nbsp;a&nbsp;close&nbsp;relarionship&nbsp;as&nbsp;well&nbsp;as&nbsp;they&nbsp;do&nbsp;with&nbsp;their&nbsp;older&nbsp;brother,&nbsp;Ronnie.

Skyker&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;long&nbsp;time&nbsp;friend&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;groom&nbsp;Kristofer,&nbsp;the&nbsp;bestman&nbsp;Jonny&nbsp;and&nbsp;our&nbsp;officiant&nbsp;Ronnie.&nbsp;They&nbsp;have&nbsp;a&nbsp;very&nbsp;closeknit&nbsp;friendship.

Nathan&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;long&nbsp;time&nbsp;friend&nbsp;both&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;groom&nbsp;and&nbsp;bride.&nbsp;His&nbsp;life&nbsp;partner&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;Maid&nbsp;Of&nbsp;Honor,&nbsp;Jessica,&nbsp;who&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;mutual&nbsp;best&nbsp;friend&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;betrothed&nbsp;couple.

Trae&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;brother-in-law&nbsp;and&nbsp;friend&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;groom&nbsp;and&nbsp;his&nbsp;brothers.&nbsp;Trae&nbsp;is&nbsp;married&nbsp;the&nbsp;groom's&nbsp;sister,&nbsp;Katie.&nbsp;They&nbsp;have&nbsp;3&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;children&nbsp;together&nbsp;that&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;present&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;wedding!
