The MOH, the other half, the original domestic partner, the yin to the yang. Roxy and Sarah have been BEST friends since April 13th, 2001 (yes, they have a friendaversary). They were inseparable as kids, many weekends spent playing dress up and blasting McFly. They both went to Fordham and were roommates all four years at school and few more after college (despite being the literal odd couple).
Nadeen Mustafa - Matron of Honor
Roxy and Nadeen met in kindergarten at the Village School. Despite both having big personalities, they became good friends. As kids, they used to steal Roxy’s dad’s camcorder and try to make their own Soap Opera movies or reenact Britney Spear’s Oops I Did it Again music video. Fortunately, those videos have since been lost.
Kirby Mene - Friend of Honor
Roxy's longest friendship. Roxy and Kirby first met at pre-school when they were almost 3 years old. Their friendship continued at the Village School and although Kirby went to a different high school, they still remained close often spending way too much at Starbucks and driving down 1-10 singing Kesha at the top of their lungs. Fortunately when they graduated from high school, Kirby went to NYU so she was just a subway ride away.
Paradise Taylor - The Favorite Cousin
Paradise, "Pashi", is Roxy's older cousin and the big sister she never had. Roxy idolized Pashi as a kid. Every Christmas, she asked for an outfit that looked just like one of hers. She was her favorite person ever. She still is one of Roxy's favorite people but Roxy no longer asks for matching outfits for Christmas (despite Pashi's amazing style).
Margot Borden - The College Best Friend
Margot and Roxy met freshman year of college. She lived down the hall from Roxy and Sarah. It all started when she let them borrow her printer that first week, then she was stuck with them. Roxy and Margot were inseparable at Fordham and lived together after for 4 years. Although Margot is now married and Roxy is getting married (hence this website), the hashtag still sticks #plusonesforlife.
Patrick Fogarty - The Favorite NYC Roommate
Roxy and Patrick met in the fall of 2018 on the Roomi app. Roxy needed a new roommate and Patrick seemed normal and clean. Fortunately, those two things proved to be true. He wound up being the best roommate she ever had and one of her best friends. There were many late nights spent together singing Sam Smith and drinking lots of wine. They were the responsibly irresponsible apartment and despite only being 550 sq ft, Roxy had some of the best memories living there with Patrick.
Neelie Randazzo - The Austin Best Friend
Neelie and Roxy met only two weeks after Roxy moved to Austin. Chris invited Roxy to Nickel City to meet some of his friends which included Taylor, Neelie’s now husband. Although Neelie and Roxy met through their significant others, they quickly developed their own friendship! Bonding over Pinot noir, emo music, and Sarah J. Maas novels, they have monthly wine night at Peche.
