Getting to Cairo
Cairo International Airport
The airport to fly into is Cairo International Airport. The airport code is CAI. When you land at the airport you will be required to get a visa which will cost $25 per person. This is best paid in cash (not credit card) as their are much shorter lines for those paying in cash.
There are signs at the airport for the visa but most of the banks at the airport can also issue it.
Airport Transfers
For Airport Pick ups and Transfers to Hotels we are recommending two options.
The Cost Effective Option
This company has an excellent airport transfer service, they will collect you from outside the airport and take you to your hotel in a lovely car (that looks like a london cab). You can book it in their app or on their website. The price for this will be around $20 per car.
The Luxury Option
A&K are a luxury tour company who we are are using for transport for the event itself.
They also provide airport transfers which includes meet and assist. This means they will meet you outside immigrations and help you navigate customs, and get you to your hotel safely.

The price for this will be between $50-100 per passenger depending on the size of your party.
HOTELS
Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino
This hotel is a lower priced option and is great for families with small kids. The majority of our Egyptian and Romanian family will be staying there and while it is fun for kids It is a little more chaotic for those who want a quieter experience.
We do have a friends and family code here to get cheaper rates - the code is MMF however not all room categories are available with that code.
Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza
This hotel is one of our favorites and where the actual dinner reception will be held on July 22nd.
We recommend this option for our Non-Egyptian guests especially those without children or with older children as you will have a much more peaceful experience.
It's also excellent for those who need good, reliable wifi for work.

Nile View Rooms

Executive Suites
$550 USD (Single occupancy) $575 (Double occupancy)
