Best Friend of the Bride: I have known Karen since I was 12 years old. We first met at our middle school soccer tryout and ever since then we have been inseparable. She is my voice of reason and my partner and crime.

Daniela and I became great friends thanks to her brother Paul. Even though he was not happy she took me away from him at the end it was probably for the best. She is the true definition of YOLO and is always down for shenanigans. My life would be boring without her.

Ivette's parents are my god parents, and our families are very close. I pretty much have known her most of my life. Even though we are not blood related she is family. She has always been a confidant and a source of good advice, and if it wasn't for that good advice Jahsi and I may have never fallen in love. Jahsi owes her big time!

Daisy and I met through mutual friends when we were in high school. Throughout the years our journey took us in two different paths, but we somehow always remained close friends. She has been a great role model for me as a new mother. She inspires me every day and I am thankful to still have her as one of my close friends.

Paula and I didn’t immediately hit it off when we first met. lol. However, since we had mutual friends, we were forced to interact, which led us to become great friends! Paula is a true and loyal friend, and I’m so glad our group of friends brought us together.

Joselyn and I had known each other for a while through mutual friends. We became close when we discovered we were attending the same college and accidentally bumped into each other, not knowing that we were taking the same class. Even though we use to fight all the time, we developed a strong bond and have been great friends ever since.

I’ve known Rosa forever! She’s another great friend I’ve known since middle school. This girl is an absolute role model, living the American dream. When I first met Rosa, she only spoke Spanish and very little English. She was wearing an American flag sweater. She explained that she wore it to “fit in” and express her gratitude for living in the States. Honestly, if she hadn’t worn that sweater, everyone would have still accepted her. She’s strong, independent, and wise. So much so that she is known as “baby yoda” in our friend group.

Eloisa! Another great friend with who I didn’t initially get along. Haha! At one point, we even wanted to fight each other over something ridiculous. If you’re curious about what it was, you can ask her at our wedding. ;) BUT…Eloisa was mature enough to settle the dispute and asked if we could make peace since we were neighbors and had to cross paths frequently. After we made up, we gradually invited each other to our house parties, which ultimately led us to become great friends.

If you’re seeking a fun time, Jackie is your girl! Another friend I didn’t get along with right away. Haha. Over the years we’ve shared many memorable moments. Most recently at a Friendsgiving gathering, we both revealed that we were pregnant with our sons JJ and Sebastian! Throughout my pregnancy, Jackie was a great source of wisdom and comfort. She helped calm my nerves and was a listening ear whenever I wanted to vent about the ups and downs of pregnancy. She constantly reminded me that everything would be okay, and now we get to experience motherhood together as friends!

Danielle is Jahsi’s older sister. When I first met her I have to admit she scared me. Haha. But over the years I got to know her and she is an extremely sweet person. She’s a great auntie and god mother to JJ. And I can’t wait to officially call her my sister.

I’ve known Paul since middle school, but we never became friends until we met in college. Apparently, he never liked me throughout middle and high school because I was a bully. In my defense, I don’t recall being mean to him but he got over it haha. Paul is the kind of person who is brutally honest with you but can also be the sweetest lamb. Out of all my friends, he’s the only one who can make me laugh until my stomach aches. I love that guy so much, and I’m so happy that he’s part of our wedding. Love you, bendito.

My right-hand man, the Big to my Rob, somehow my biggest supporter and hater at the same time haha. If Ruby is my Sun, Tim is the person who hands me an ice-cold beer when it gets too hot... and then calls me soft when I don't finish it.

What can I say about my little brother and my birthday twin. Growing up we had very different personalities but as we grow older, I realize our similarities more and more. From our laid-back demeanor to our ability to memorize song lyrics and kill a karaoke stage. I may have been a tough act to follow but he's done a great job and I'm extremely proud of him.

My first college friend and roommate. Who would have thought that a kid from the small town of Shamokin PA and a kid from the Bronx NY would be able to bond over soccer, snacks, and our mutual hate for losing. From game winning goals to epic Halloween costumes, 211 swag has been undeniable since day one.

Justin's ability to pick a fight with literally anybody on the planet has to be his most note-worthy skill. And that's saying a lot for a man of his many talents which include finding the worst possible times to say "Go Birds" and being impressively bad at chugging beer. But seriously the guy is an amazing friend to have in your corner and I wouldn't want anybody else having my back on the soccer field and throughout life.

I've known Chris, better known as Vaka since high school. We were both student athletes, so we hung out with the same crowd. It wasn't until I made my way up to State College my junior year that our friendship really developed. The ultimate wild card, who is always down for a good time and has no shame in his game. A mainstay in our wildest adventures and someone I consider a brother to this day.

I have known Aaron longer than I can actually remember. We've been friends since before we were toddlers and our families have always been close. So close in fact that I thought that we were actually related for the majority of my childhood haha. Even though we may not be related by blood he is and will always be family.

Richie has played a pivotal role in Ruby and I's relationship. As the husband of her best friend Karen, we naturally trauma bonded over a lot of things. From both our football teams being basura, to both becoming first time dads, consoling each other when our parlays miss by one leg, and trying to navigate life without pissing off our significant others. Richie is a great friend to have in your corner and an even better drinking buddy when we inevitably piss off Karen and Ruby haha.

I honestly can't remember the first time I met Danny due to the fact that Ruby has way too many friends. What I do remember is sharing and appreciating his sense of humor and sarcasm. Our friendship really took off once we teamed up to play flag football together. Always a great teammate and someone who you can always rely on, on and off the field. Danny has helped us out in more ways than I can count, and I'm forever grateful for our friendship.

Me and Erik have come a long way. From him initially trying to intimidate me, then to sympathizing and apologizing to me on behalf of Ruby, to proudly introducing me as his cunado to literally everyone we meet. Erik has always been there to lend an ear and help translate when needed. I deeply appreciate the role he has played in Ruby's life and how amazing he has been as JJ's Nino.

What can I say about my other soon to be brother-in-law! Freddy might be one of the most passionate and stubborn human beings I've ever met. Which partly explains where Ruby got it from haha. But that passion and stubbornness turn into unwavering loyalty once he considers you family, and from day one Freddy has always made me feel welcome. Even though we may not agree on everything, especially when it comes to sports. I'm happy to have him as my brother.

One of the first of Ruby's longtime friends that I met. Me and Alo bonded right away. He was the first person that tried to warn me about what I was getting myself into lol. We've only known each other for a few years but it feels like we grew up together. Probably only second to Tim when it comes to getting on my last nerve, he has been a source of wisdom and a role model for me as a father. Even if he is a Viejo pendejo haha.
