Our Wedding

God works in mysterious ways, and it was definitely a winding path He set for these two! Ryan and Laura knew each other for multiple years working together in law enforcement, until one day last summer they finally “met” in the dating sense on Hinge! Ryan matched Laura, she matched him back...but it still took a little while to navigate the coworker to dating transition. Thankfully, they were teamed up for a workout during a Labor Day party with friends, where Laura beat Ryan in the courage department by breaking the ice and asking if he was interested in her, giving Ryan the opportunity to officially ask Laura on a date (finally lol)…and the rest is history!

Flights, Accommodations, and Transport

Flights

Since Las Vegas is a major tourist city, most airlines will get you here! However, Southwest is the most dominant airline flying in and out of the city. 
 
If you're part of the ceremony, please be aware that it starts at 9am in a town about 45 minutes outside of Las Vegas, so you will likely need to fly in the night before.

Accommodations

Aloft is a great option that is about 40 minutes to the ceremony and 20 minutes to the reception (pending evening traffic). Plus, it's behind one of Laura's favorite coffee shops, Mothership Coffee Roasters! 

If you decide to book here, we have a flat 15% off discount code for whatever the rate is the day you book, so the earlier you book, the better. Use code 30020 under the corporate/promo code option when booking. The code can be used for any block of days you want. 

Of note, if you are booking multiple rooms, each must have a unique name on it. The code is not compatible with duplicate names on reservations.

TownePlace and SpringHill Suites are directly next to each other and are similar distances to the ceremony and reception as Aloft. The provided link should allow for you to book with a similar discount as Aloft.

We don't have any Airbnbs picked out for you all, but we encourage you to look at some if the provided hotels aren't your thing! There are a lot available that are very affordable.

Transportation 

For those who are a part of the ceremony, we will be in contact about transportation and specific directions. 
 
For everyone else...Vegas really isn&#8217;t all that big. So depending on where you decide to stay, and where you want to go while you&#8217;re here, Uber/Lyft are great options for getting around, especially for the reception. 
 
Vehicle rentals through the airport are always an option if you&#8217;d like to go see the surrounding Las Vegas valley or if you decide to add to your plans and go exploring the weekend after the wedding! If you plan to drive to the reception, Hudl does not have its own parking lot, but there is plenty of parking off Main Street or the surrounding roads for you!
 
If you decide to go to the Strip, and don&#8217;t feel like walking the whole thing, there is the Las Vegas Monorail that can take you from the MGM Grand all the way to the Sahara. However, please be aware the Monorail will not take you all the way to the Arts District where the reception is.

Travel

This is our favorite brewery! Go have a flight and don’t forget your duck! Able Baker is also walking distance to Hudl so it's a great option to hang out at if you get down to the Arts District a little early.

Just west of Vegas, this is a quick view into the beauty of the desert. Even if you don’t want to hike, the scenic drive through Red Rock Canyon is gorgeous.  Please be aware that if you do hike and it's hot out, there is little to no shade on many of the Red Rock trails.
