We encourage you to check out some of the cool things that Labuan Bajo and surrounding islands have to offer! Here are some of our favourites - please feel free to reach out if you want any additional details on these!
"Only" about 800 steps to the summit, but definitely worth it to see the stunning view of Padar island with 3 beaches of different sand colours (pink, black, and white!)
Beautiful Pink beach, one of only a handful in the world! Best enjoyed together with a bikini babe running in slow motion like in Baywatch!
Scary (for one of us) Komodo Dragons - I mean, it's true that they can eat you, but they mostly seem pretty chill
Unique white sand bank in the middle of the sea, surrounded by crystal clear water, sharks, and turtles!
Take a sunset cruise to Kalong island, where every night thousands of Flying Foxes (fruit bats) migrate from their homes in the mangroves to find fresh fruit for dinner! Quite a unique and magical experience!
Hopefully get to see a few huge mantas, sea turtles, and beautiful/healthy coral reefs. Ryan swears he even saw a manatee once (but this is an unconfirmed sighting, as he might have been a bit delirious after climbing Padar Island!)
Typically for a few nights, the most adventurous amongst us can live on board a big boat and tour the incredible nature in the local islands!
Best enjoyed with a brother (or anyone else of your choosing) this is a small traditional village that's a two hour hike from the nearest road...or electricity. Enjoy a night sleeping in one of the local houses!
Check out a few resorts with amazing views to enjoy the sunset with a drink!
Enjoy sunset from the hill...Brother Fajar dragged Vita to climb the hill, but in the end it was worth it!
Enjoy fresh seafood and other Indonesian food that is very rich in spices. Don't forget fresh coconut to hydrate!
Highly recommended by our driver for its freshness, but highly cautioned that this is street food and suggest that you choose the right moment to go!
