Jordyn and Courtney met through the young adults potluck at Citizens where they engaged in a long theological discussion - no better way to start a friendship! Over their time as friends, Jordyn has become one of the first people Courtney shares her wins and losses with. Jordyn is humble in every sense of the word, a beautiful display of what it means to be a disciple of Christ, and a friend who embodies what Christian fellowship should look like. She is a servant of the Holy Spirit and wise beyond her understanding. Courtney is honored with the blessing of her friendship and honored that she would walk along side her in this season of life. *Ask her to do her K-Pop Demon Hunters dance when you meet her*

Sleepy Chicken! Rachel is Courtney's cousin! She is her little "mini-me" as they are two peas in a pod that feed off of each others' energy. Rachel has been one of Courtney's closest friends her whole life, and she is so incredibly precious. She finds the excitement and joy in absolutely every moment; you can never be bored around Rachey. She loves Jesus more than she could ever express, and she is so receptive to the Lord's direction in her life. Rachel is quick to be humble before Christ and quick to love those around her. She is understanding, compassionate, and cares deeply for those she loves. Rachel is a valiant leader, bold and courageous for the Gospel, and a steadfast friend. There are few greater blessings than walking with Rachel through life.

Emily is Courtney's sister-in-law! They met when she was a senior in high school and Courtney was in 8th grade. Emily is one of the most gracious and patient people Courtney has ever met. She makes a friend out of anybody and is so incredibly fun to be around. Emily is reliable, generous, encouraging, and enthusiastic. She is definitely one of the funniest people Courtney knows - always having the perfect witty phrase in every situation (her last name is perfect). It has been Courtney's joy to get to know Emily not just as Brandon's girlfriend/fiancee/wife but also as a loved and trusted friend. She is the best person that could've come into the Witte family, and she is a delight to know.

Courtney met Hannah when she was her Resident Advisor Hannah's Freshman year, and her dad asked Courtney for her tools to install something in Hannah's room. Little did they know that their friendship would be a beautiful gift from the Lord. Hannah is nothing short of a champion for the Gospel. She is courageous, bold, outspoken, and fearless. It is inspiring to hear her talk about the Lord. Hannah is spunky, joyful, and hilarious. She is the easiest person to talk to and the fastest person to become friends with. Hannah is patient, wise beyond her years, and eager to know the Lord. Courtney is thankful that their friendship did not stop at RA/Resident or even at sorority sister but continued to sisters in Christ and friends for life.

Courtney has never met anyone in her life stronger or more impressive than Liberty Cook. Liberty is one of the most outstanding people in the entire world. Much like Hannah, Liberty met Courtney her Freshman year as Courtney's resident. Liberty is unmoved in her pursuit of the Lord even in times of hardship. She steps out in bold faith in every area of her life, clinging to the goodness of God. Liberty is deserving of deep respect and is stunningly wise in every sense of the word. She acts with humility in all things and exercises forgiveness every opportunity she has. Courtney has learned so much from Liberty in their friendship and is wildly blessed to watch Liberty grow closer to the Lord. Liberty is genuine, kind beyond belief, and has the most contagious laugh you will ever hear. She is a precious gift.

Alison goes to Citizens Church with Ryan and Courtney, and she has become a dear friend to both of them especially after their first conversation where Courtney and Alison giggled all evening about desires to go skydiving! Courtney had the honor of being in her wedding and is thrilled for her to be a part of this wedding! Alison is a warrior for the Kingdom of God; she is gracious, compassionate, bold, and always ready to say "yes" when the Lord calls. She is adventurous and always down for anything making her the perfect enabler for all of Courtney's antics. Her friendship is nothing less than a gift.

My Cupcake Girl!! Osanna and Courtney became friends rapidly during Alison's bachelorette trip! Since then, they have been inseparable (even though Osanna lives in Indiana)! Osanna is steadfast in her friendship, a champion for all who meet her, and a faithful steward of the Gospel. She is an inspiration to Courtney through how she deeply desires to know Jesus and through her strength and perseverance of character through adversity. Osanna is a bundle of joy full of giggles, and it is Courtney's sincere privilege to know her. She also knows how to get down on the dance floor!

Katherine is Courtney's cousin! She is incredibly hardworking in everything she sets her mind to. Katherine is a loyal and steadfast friend, bearing others' burdens with grace and compassion. She is a champion for her people, and she reflects the Lord through her dedication to including everyone in every activity. It has been Courtney's honor to have known her her whole life. There is no one Courtney would rather play mermaids in Hawai'i with.

Chey was Courtney's suite-mate in Florida during her Disney College Program. While living with each other for only three months they became fast friends! Chey is considerate, understanding, gentle, and generous. She loves others with her whole heart, and she is a passionate friend. Chey is so goofy and has the most contagious laugh. She is a friend to all. Courtney could not have asked for a better suite-mate at Disney, and is so grateful Chey is in her life!

Isa was Courtney's roommate for a month while they lived at Disney, and they have maintained their friendship even though Isa lives all the way in Brazil! They bonded so quickly over their faiths especially when they would show each other worship music from their cultures! Isa is outstandingly genuine and kind; she reflects the Lord's love in the way she wants to deeply know every person she meets. Isa is gentle, patient, and encouraging. It is a gift to hear her talk about Jesus and to be her friend!

Amariah met Courtney and Ryan through Citizens potluck, and she often serves with Courtney in the children's ministry! She is the most fun-loving, joyful person who can talk to anyone! Amariah reflects Christ so intentionally in the way that she loves others unabashedly through everything. Courtney is reminded of the joyfulness of Jesus when she is with Amariah. You experience God's sweet grace when you enjoy a friendship with Amariah. She's a gift!

Shaylana (often referred to as Laana) is one of the pioneers of the Citizens young adults potluck! She and Courtney have grown a sweet and lovely friendship over the time they've known each other. Laana is the most compassionate, caring, and gentle person Courtney has ever met. She reflects the heart of Christ through her gift of servant leadership. She is the most balanced combination of meekness and pure strength of character. It is a blessing to be known by Laana and even more so to know her.

Olivia is the fiancee of Ryan's older brother Connor! She cares fiercely for others and shows Christ through how well she listens intently. Olivia is intentional, humble, gentle, and an advocate for all. She is so silly and a joy to giggle with! Her inquisitiveness is inspiring, and it is Courtney's gift to see her grow in her knowledge of the Lord. Courtney is thrilled to get to be sisters with Olivia for the rest of time!
