2012ish: Ryan and Anna were in the same friend group in high school (thanks Dane) but never really got to know each other more than acquaintances.

July 2017: They went on their first trip together with 2 of their other friends to Arizona. That is when their friendship really began.

August 2018: Ryan and those 2 friends went down to Pensacola to visit Anna at UWF. This is when Anna confessed she was in to Ryan and thought they should date. He was not on the same page. SO they stayed friends. Chatted all the time, nothing changed.

July 2020: Ryan confessed to Anna that he was in to her and thought they should date. She was not on the same page. They decided to stay friends... sound familiar?

April 2021: Anna surprised Ryan for his birthday while he was living in Chicago. Anna's brother, Jim, interrogated Ryan over drinks but it was actually just the start of their friendship, too.

July 2021: Ryan asked Anna to officially be his girlfriend and their true (and very long distance) love story began.

October 2023: They moved to Nashville, Tennessee. Ryan coming from Chicago and Anna coming from Pensacola. They got their puppy, Nash, and learned to be parents together!

April 2025: They finally moved back to the Chicagoland suburbs where they plan to stay for the foreseeable future :)

July 2025: Ryan proposed to Anna at the Brault Family Reunion in Wisconsin. She had NO idea and it was the greatest surprise!

October 2025: Anna and Ryan exchanged vows in Pensacola, Florida.

April 2026: They bought a house!

October 2026: They get to celebrate their love with all of YOU!
