Walking around Town Lake is an Austin staple. Whether you walk the 3, 4, 5 or 7 mile loop, you get a beautiful view of the lake and downtown the whole time.

Ask for "a large Bob"! This is our favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in town. Our parents would meet us there on our drives in from Auburn and Nashville and have a frozen margarita and a large Bob waiting at the table for us. The best homecoming:)

Ryan's all time favorite breakfast taco: build your own with brisket, spicy sausage, beans, potatoes, cheese, Rudy's BBQ sauce.

We used to freeze the queso and bring it back to Auburn. Unbeatable. Try the Trashy Trailer Park, the Brushfire, or the Green Chili Pork.

Best BBQ inside the city limits, but the original location is in Lockhart, TX called "The Original Black's Barbecue Lockhart."

The best BBQ in Texas - voted by MA and fam. Their sausage is in the BBQ Bible by Texas Monthly, but their brisket, ribs and sauce we buy in bulk. So good!!
