Our Wedding

Ryleigh and Corey’s love story began in the fall of 2016, a season painted with warm hues and crisp air. They first crossed paths on a dating app, and their first meeting was set for a simple coffee date at a quaint local café. Little did they know that this initial encounter would spark a connection that would shape their lives.

That October day, the coffee shop was meant to be a brief rendezvous, just an hour of conversation and coffee. However, time seemed to stand still as they talked and laughed, their chemistry so electric that the evening slipped away unnoticed until the shop’s closing hours. Corey was instantly captivated by Ryleigh’s radiant smile, her sparkling eyes, and her infectious laughter. Her magnetic personality drew him in completely. Ryleigh, on the other hand, was enchanted by Corey’s effortless charm and his ability to make her laugh with ease. Their connection was undeniable.

Both were students at Sonoma State, where their relationship blossomed over the next year. Yet, despite their deep affection for each other, they recognized that they both needed to grow and mature. With heavy hearts, they decided to part ways, trusting that this separation would be for the best.

Fate, however, had a way of weaving their paths together once more. Four years later, their lives intertwined again, this time at a local brewery. When they reunited, it was as if no time had passed. They had both grown into better versions of themselves, and their rekindled connection was as intense and joyful as ever.

Their renewed romance led them to take a significant step forward. Nine months after reconnecting, they moved in together, Ryleigh’s internship bringing them back to Sonoma County, the very place where their story had begun. Their life together was filled with adventures and shared experiences. Ryleigh introduced Corey to a world of outdoor escapades—hikes, camping trips, and hockey games. They explored new places, including trips to Boise, Idaho, and enjoyed concerts and spontaneous getaways.

Corey, in turn, revealed to Ryleigh the simple pleasures of staying in. Their weekends were often spent cooking together in their cozy kitchen or snuggled up on the couch, binge-watching their favorite TV shows. Their shared moments at home became treasured rituals.

In May of 2023, their joy expanded with the arrival of Winnie, their beloved fur baby, who quickly became the center of their world and a symbol of their growing family.

The next chapter of their love story unfolded on October 14th, 2023. Corey orchestrated a surprise proposal at Armstrong Redwoods State Park, choosing a serene and beautiful setting to ask Ryleigh the most important question of their lives. The moment was even more special with the presence of their loved ones, who emerged from behind the trees, their joy and excitement adding to the magic of the occasion.

As they now embark on their journey of wedding planning, Corey and Ryleigh continue to fall deeper in love with each passing day. Their story is a testament to the power of love and the beauty of a bond that grows stronger with time, filled with shared dreams, adventures, and an unbreakable connection.

Your presence at our wedding means the world to us, and we’re incredibly grateful for the time, effort, and love you’re sharing with us as we begin this new chapter together.
