Matron of Honor

McKenna Lains
McKenna Lains - Matron of Honor
Kenna, or K$ as known by many, is a forever friend. We played competitive lacrosse together growing up in Utah but always attended different schools until we both ended up at the University of Utah together. We became even closer when Kenna convinced me to play for the University of Utah lacrosse team. Since then, it's been non-stop adventures with her! From dirt biking with her family in Moab, to weekend camping trips, and standing by her and Cory's side on their wedding day, Kenna is the most genuine soul sister I could ever ask for! I know that no matter what kind of day I'm having, I can call her up and I'll always end that call with a smile because Kenna is sunshine in the form of a person. We've been through all the highs and lows of life together, and I couldn't imagine doing this without her!

Bridesmaids/man

Mara Pascua
Mara Pascua - Bridesmaid
Mara is that friend that I'll get to tell my kids and grandkids about - the best friend that I have known since pre-school! We grew up going to the same elementary and middle schools, playing all the sports together. When I left JD for high school, we fell out of contact for a while, as you do when you no longer see them every day at school. Fast forward to mid-college, I was walking Kai around the neighborhood next to Ash's and mine and Mara jumped up from the neighborhood pool and was like, what are you doing over here?! We lived right next to each other and didn't even know. I'm so thankful for those years in Sandy where I not only got to have fun wine nights with her whenever, but also got back my best friend of 20+ years!
Katie Koehler
Katie Koehler - Bridesmaid
MY GIRL! Katie was one of those fast friends - you know, the one where you meet once through other friends and just instantly click! Katie and I met through Kenna (my MOH) on a camping trip up in the Uintas. She was easily the most fun, wild girl and I just knew we'd be great friends. I can always count on Katie to be 100% herself and always be there for me with anything I need, even if it's getting a haircut from her while we're wine drunk watching community :) From then, we've gone on many adventures together, like mountain biking with her fam near Jackson Hole to climbing in the Wasatch. She's the most selfless ball of sunshine and I'm so lucky to have found her!
Isabella Barilla
Isabella Barilla - Bridesmaid
This is my bestie/mermaid friend, Bella! Bella and I met through the one friend that I had on this island when I first moved here in 2021. The first time that we met, I went to meet up with my buddy at the beach in Waikiki, and when I saw Bella, not only was I like "this girl is gorgeous", but I was also like, "holy hell this girl knows EVERYONE"! She had lifeguards saying hi to her, people on boats talking with her, and even a canoe of guys paddled over to see her! She works on a catamaran, I later learned, which was how she knew so many people. Aside from Bella being the nicest popular girl I'd ever met, I quickly realized how sweet, thoughtful, and fun she was and we became friends quickly! I don't know what I would have done if I didn't meet her my first year out here.
Kesh Mullen
Kesh Mullen - Bridesmaid
Kesh was an instant soul sister that I met shortly after Bella. At the time, she was roommates with Bella and that's how we met. Kesh is probably the SWEETEST, most positive person I know. When she walks into a room or any situation, she brings the light with her and its infectious! I can always count on Kesh to inspire me to be active - she's like a psycho athlete and I want to be like her when I grow up ;) haha Since meeting, it's been adventure after adventure with this girl. From surfing North Shore, to flying to Big Island to see a volcano erupt, and this past summer getting to frolic through Italy together, this girl is someone that I know will be a forever friend and I'm so thankful for her every day.
Sampson Clark
Sampson Clark - Bridesman
Sampy is someone that I have known since he was in diapers! Growing up, his older brother and my older brother were the best of friends - inseparable through elementary and middle school. So that meant that we were always at the same parties and the same sporting events. Our families were close, so we grew up together. Sampy is a few years younger than me, so it wasn't until I was in high school that I said to myself, I don't just want Sampy to be a "family friend", but I want him to be MY FRIEND! From then, we'd go on sushi dates together, loads of canyon drives, spend nights having deep talks in his basement, and I could always count on the best memories to be made at the Clark's annual Xmas Party :) Sampson is that best friend that I can talk about ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING with and can always count on.

Best Men

Tennison Schmidt
Tennison Schmidt - Co-Best Man / Brother of the Groom
Not only is Tenny my little brother, but he is my best friend. When we were kids I had to translate for him because he spoke a form of baby language that only I could understand. No matter what we were doing, from playing hours and hours of xbox games to growing together in the sport of lacrosse, ours is a bond that I will cherish forever. Some of my fondest memories with him are playing fiddles(lacrosse) in the front yard or driving around blasting the music we love. When I look back, Tenny has been there for me through every chapter of life. He is one of the nicest people I know, and no matter what the situation is he can put a smile on your face and make you laugh till you cry. I am so thankful that I have had him by my side throughout my life. I wouldn't be where I am without him.
Nick Thorsen
Nick Thorsen - Co-Best Man / Officiant
I grew up in diapers with this guy. We grew up in the same neighborhood, and as it goes, I moved away and we lost contact with each other for a few years. That is until Sabrina connected with Nick while they were working at Brighton Ski Resort. Once Nick caught wind that Sabrina was dating “Ashton Schmidt”, he asked for my snapchat and the rest is history… Nick is the kind of friend that will drop everything 15 minutes before he has to be at the mouth of the canyon. He is a person who I know I can count on no matter what he’s the most loyal and trustworthy friend. We have been through a lot together, from talking on the phone too much, backcountry snowboarding, training and running a marathon, backyard skate sessions, pickleball, and endless inside jokes. This year I was able to be a part of his wedding back in Utah and now he gets to return the favor!

Groomsmen

Beau Larson
Beau Larson - Groomsman
I met Beau through Sabrina when I came to visit her while doing long distance. Beau is one of those guys that when you meet him, you just know that he is such a chill guy and someone that you want to be friends with. I quickly learned that he’s one of those friends that's down for almost any adventure you throw at him but especially if there's a board involved, which is something we have in common. We definitely became friends through surfing and then started to hang out more and more from that! Beau has one of the most positive attitudes that I have ever seen and is always there to have a good time unless it's 9:00 pm, then it's time for bed lol. From surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, dodgeball, hiking, camping, sailing, foiling, dancing, to guitar hero, he's all in and a friend that will be around for a lifetime.
Luke Fairman
Luke Fairman - Groomsman
I met Luke about 15 years ago while playing in a lacrosse game. We realized that we were both pretty good and spent the rest of the game making plays together. Since that day, he had become one of my best friends. From playing on multiple lacrosse teams together, going to school, backyard hangouts, snowboarding, longboarding, family vacations and tournaments, walking around before we had cars, and making wild memories together, it’s hard to remember a time when he wasn’t in my life! Luke became like another brother and a part of my family. Luke is probably one of the most excited guys that you'll meet. He is one of those friends that has so many crazy stories to share and one of the most genuine people I know. I owe a lot of who I am to this guy and all of the time that we spent growing up together. Even though we live in different states now and don’t talk or see each other as often, Luke will always be a brother to me and I couldn’t do this without him there with me.
Nate Thorsen
Nate Thorsen - Groomsman
I met Nate the same time I met his twin brother, Nick, back when I was a child. We spent a lot of time growing up together and hanging in the neighborhood skating and buying a co-owned bike that he claims he never got to ride. We had classes together through elementary school with memories of getting in trouble. After reconnecting with Nate we started hanging out more and we would have skate nights, snowboard (where he would forget all his gear), train for marathons, and have taco nights. Nate is one of those people who just cares about others and has a smile on his face while doing it. Nate and I have had many late night convos just talking about life and they are some of the best ones where I know I can always talk freely. Thankful to have this guy back as a brother in my adult years!
Noah Neumann
Noah Neumann - Groomsman
I meat Noah a couple years ago here in Oahu! He is one of those guys who’s always down to send it and do something adventurous! He’s such a caring human and will be there anytime you need him and is a true friend. Noah is always one that has a joke ready to go and will make you laugh and have a great conversation! From surfing, hiking, concerts, to just hanging out and chilling Noah is one to have around for a good time! So stoked to have him as a lifelong friend!
