Caleb and I met when we were very young. I remember first meeting him at church when we were kids. His family had moved to Knox County, IN in July 2011 only a mile down the road from my house. We went to the same church and were neighbors. Caleb and I had casually known each other growing up from living close, going to the same school, and of course, church activities. It wasn’t until we were teenagers attending the same small group at church that we finally got to know each other better. We began talking more outside of church through social media. A friendship developed between the two of us. We started hanging out more in 2020 in the same friend group then we quickly started hanging out more one-on-one. We started to develop more serious feelings for each other not too long after this. On May 22, 2021, he asked me to be his girlfriend. We dated for a few years, getting through the college years and navigating our first real adult jobs together as a team. Then on October 15, 2023, Caleb surprised me with a very cute surprise proposal. We have been engaged ever since. We are both very excited for our wedding and for our future together!
