It all started in 2017 while living in California when David and I first met and became friends.From taking spontaneous trips and enjoying nights out with friends, we never would have expected to be where we are today.Fast forward to March 2021, we were both traveling to work in Texas. His work schedule was much more time consuming than mine, but I still managed to make it out there and both our schedules aligned. Time away from work we would go out to dinner and see what there was to explore in Texas.We even made a trip to New Orleans one weekend and had a blast! He even took me on my first helicopter ride :) At that point is when I knew he was the one.My trip to Texas came to an end, and I remember David dropping me off at the airport and I felt like a piece of me was leaving behind. I did not want to leave him.Between March and May, I was still able to go back to Texas and during that time is when David and I decided that we wanted to be together and grow a future together. He did the apartment hunting while I was back in California to pack and he found the perfect spot for us. Fast forward to December 2024, from still taking spontaneous trips, from adopting two dogs, and buying a house, he FINALLY put a ring on it, in Thailand!I am excited to see what the future brings for us in this new chapter. I also cannot wait to celebrate our special day with our family and friends.SOON TO BE SERNAS!!
