Our Wedding

We met in March 2018 at a bar in Brisbane, Australia—Sabrina was studying abroad from the U.S., and Quentin was traveling with a working holiday visa from France. What started as a chance meeting on the other side of the world ended up turning into something very special.We kept in touch after that night, and later we had our first official date—going to see Deadpool 2 at the movies. From there, we spent as much time together as we could while we were both still in Australia.When it was time to head back to our home countries Quentin made a detour to visit Sabrina in the U.S. before heading home to France, and for her 21st birthday, he surprised her with a flight to visit him in France during her Thanksgiving break ... and the rest is history.We did long distance between France and the U.S. for four years. Eventually, Quentin was able to move to Florida, where Sabrina was finishing grad school, and we finally got to start our everyday life together.We were living together in Davie, Florida for 3 years - and just moved back to Massachusetts in October 2025!We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!

The attire for the wedding is black tie optional. Tuxedos or formal suits and floor length or dressy/midi cocktail dresses, etc. Light-colored suits are perfectly acceptable for the season! Feel free to dress to impress!

What is the attire?

We have listed several hotels under the travel tab, all less than 10 minutes from the wedding venue. There are also several Airbnb options in the area.

Where should we stay?

We will be providing transportation to and from the Chateau from the surrounding hotels. There is also parking available at the venue for those who wish to drive.

How do I get to and from the wedding venue? 

We love your little ones, but we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only celebration (unless otherwise specified by Sabrina and Quentin).

Can I bring my children?

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (weather permitting) with the reception dinner and after-party inside the Chateau.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Airports

The Geneva Airport (GVA) in Switzerland is a large international airport which is about 55 minutes from Tresserve. There is also Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport (LYS), in Lyon France which is about 56 minutes from Tresserve.

Annecy

Visiting Annecy is a must! One of our favorite places to go in France, a small charming city which sits right on the lake about 30 minutes from Tresserve.

Things to do in Annecy:

~Rent a motor boat, paddle boat, or paddle board and spend the day on Lake Annecy

~For our adventure seekers: go paragliding over Lake Annecy (Sabrina did this a few years ago and the experience and views were 10/10)!

~Try our favorite ice cream spot: Glacier des Alpes in the city center

~Relax outside and have a beer at our favorite pub: Milton Pub

~Hike Mount Veyrier for stunning views of the lake

~Walk around the city and explore the endless shops, restaurants, and bars!

Chamonix

Chamonix is one of the most stunning towns we have ever been to! Nestled in the middle of the French alps Chamonix is about an hour and a half from Tresserve, perfect for a day trip or an overnight stay.

Things to do in Chamonix:

~Hike up to Lac Blanc! This is our #1 favorite hike we have ever done with the most breathtaking views, however this is no feat for the weak. You can take the La Flegere gondola from Les Praz to shorten the hike (about 1 hour of hiking) or, if you're up for it, start at the bottom and make the 4 hour trek to the top!

~Take the cable car to Aiguille du Midi, the highest peak that you can get to in all of Europe! At the top enjoy 360 panoramic views of the surrounding Alps

~If you're there on Saturday, visit the farmer's market in the center of town. Make sure to stop by Thabuis Primeur to visit the best man Damien!

~Eat at some of the amazing restaurants in town, shop, drink, and enjoys the views!

Aix-Les-Bains

This small city is right next to Tresserve and sits on Lac du Bourget. A perfect place to spend a day or two if you will be arriving early or winding down after the wedding.

Things to do in Aix-Les-Bains:

~Take a cruise and spend the day on Lac du Bourget. Compagnie des Bateaux offers several sightseeing, dinner, and happy hour cruises to choose from.

~Go golfing at the Golf Club d'Aix-Les-Baines

~Visit the farmer's market at Place Clemenceau if you will be there on Saturday
