We met in March 2018 at a bar in Brisbane, Australia—Sabrina was studying abroad from the U.S., and Quentin was traveling with a working holiday visa from France. What started as a chance meeting on the other side of the world ended up turning into something very special.

We kept in touch after that night, and later we had our first official date—going to see Deadpool 2 at the movies. From there, we spent as much time together as we could while we were both still in Australia.

When it was time to head back to our home countries Quentin made a detour to visit Sabrina in the U.S. before heading home to France, and for her 21st birthday, he surprised her with a flight to visit him in France during her Thanksgiving break ... and the rest is history.

We did long distance between France and the U.S. for four years. Eventually, Quentin was able to move to Florida, where Sabrina was finishing grad school, and we finally got to start our everyday life together.

We were living together in Davie, Florida for 3 years - and just moved back to Massachusetts in October 2025!
