While on a Spring Break trip with all of Sadie's (and now Zach's) friends, Zach asked Sadie to accompany him to a private dinner for just the two of them.

While at Casa D'Angelo Ristorante, he made it official and asked Sadie to be his girlfriend

Their trip to Fort Lauderdale comes to an end and the entire world has been hit by COVID-19.

When arriving back to Michigan to a stay at home order they decided it would be better to quarantine together rather than completely alone. So, Zach re-packed his bag and went to Mount Pleasant. They have been living together since!

With all the uncertain things, they tried to make the most of being outdoors and shared a lot of adventures together. Blueberry picking, backpacking trip to Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, a sunrise to sunset day across Michigan, and ski trips once the snow fell!

Between Sadie starting an internship and Zach being full time at work, they had a busy year!

September 2021

After Sadie received a job offer in Denver. They made a move to Colorado for the foreseeable future!

Taking every opportunity for adventure, including coming back to Michigan for the holidays and for Sadie's official college graduation.

After making the jump to build a business together, Sadie and Zach go fully remote with work.

Their year in Colorado was filled with adventure.

Ski trips, Royal Gorge Train with Sadie's Grandparents, Disney World, Cruise with Sadie's Mom, Christa and her husband, Ryan, Spring Break with MOH Shelby, training for and completing a half marathon, trip to UT, and Grandkids vacation with cousins in CO, hikes with friends and more...

In July, 2022 Sadie and Zach bought their van and started construction!!

Midway, they had to pack up and move out of their CO apartment and return to MI to finish their build!

From purchase to completion, this project only took a little over 100 days! This could not have been possible without the generosity and help of Zach's parents and Sadie's dad!

After finishing PITA the Van, Sadie and Zach took off on a test travel run! Of course, they had to take it back where that story began and headed straight for the Colorado mountains.

After a few technical errors, Zach suggested that they head for Rocky Mountain National Park to "take pictures for their future travel blog."

Well on November 7, 2022 that "future blog picture" turned into Zach getting on one knee and proposing to Sadie!!

She of course, said "YES!"

They finished their trial run with a road trip to Phoenix then back to MI to finish out 2022!

For Much of 2023, Sadie and Zach hit the road in their van with their cat, Josie.

In a span of 8 months, they were able to travel through 23 States, 2 Canadian Provinces and 16 National Parks.

They are currently living in an apartment back in the great state of Michigan until their wedding in 2024!
