The day after BBQ will be take place at lake Temescal in Oakland. Bring your A game because there will be a lot of fun lawn games and competition!

Men: A tailored suit, dress shirt, tie, and leather shoes. No need to wear a tuxedo! Women: Cocktail to floor length dresses, formal pantsuits, with appropriate shoes. Remember, the ceremony will take place in the redwoods so wear shoes accordingly. Stilettos are not recommended

Roberts regional park (where the ceremony will take place) and the Chabot Space and Science Center (reception) are about .5 miles away from each other. We will have a shuttle that will pick up guests at Chabot and bring them to and from the reception site. Parking is free at Chabot. The shuttle will start at 4:00 pm and the last shuttle will be at 4:30 pm. If you choose to drive between the venues, there is a $5 parking fee that you will have to pay to enter Roberts Another option aside from driving is taking a Lyft or Uber to bring you to Roberts and you can take the shuttle up to Chabot after the ceremony. To be noted, if you are ubering, it can take a while for an Uber to pick you up so please keep this in mind for the end of the night.

We’d love for you to capture the moments, but we ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony to ensure our photographer gets the best shots! Feel free to snap away at the reception though—just tag us in the good ones!
