Our Story

How We Met/Our Story

Picture of How We Met/Our Story

The first time we ever spoke to one another was at summer band camp in 2017 at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. We became fast friends, and spent our high school lives getting to know each other and sharing stories from afar.

Each summer , Noah and I would reunite at the UAM band and jazz camps. Noah typically reached out first to check on his friends before camp. During covid, we began to talk even more than before as Noah helped me with my AP Language homework on numerous occasions over FaceTime. We would talk for hours on end each night about a bunch of random and silly things.

Our friends in school kept telling us to date, as we were very close friends during our senior year of high school. During the month of May, as high school was winding down to an end, Noah asked me to be his girlfriend.

College came in the fall of 2020. Noah and I had decided to go to the University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM). We both are pursing a Bachelors of Arts in Music Education with a focus on instrumental music because we both have a love for music and helping others through teaching.

We've spent the last four years of dating going through thick and thin together. Whether it be the late hours practicing together for ensembles, the many goofy things that we've experienced with our friends, or the emotional highs and lows that come with college life, our bond has gotten stronger in our time together. We know through faith and love that this will continue for many years to come.

After many talks and conversations about our future, Noah proposed to me at a UAM football game on October 21st, 2023 with our bandmates and friends playing "Hey Baby" in the background. It was a joyous day!!

We are now so close to our big day, Sunday, May 25th, 2025! Everyone around us have helped our love grow and thrive throughout thes years we have been together, and we are so thankful for all of the support we have received from you all. We look forward to the many years together strengthening our relationship with each other, our relationship with God, and our relationship with our friends and family. Thank you from us both!
