"Hey stranger, where have you been...haven't seen you in a while?" A casual exchange that would lead us to today. Sam, as you know, travels for work. One Sunday, I was giving him a hard time because it seemed like it had been a few weeks since I had seen him at church. I think, if you asked Sam, it was that exchange that set things in motion and would change our lives forever.

We had always had a casual and comfortable aire around each other. It was last summer, however, that our friendship started to shift into so much more.

From a "hey stranger" to hours on the phone, coffee dates, hikes, family activities, and day trips... little did we know how quickly God would unite our hearts.

An unexpected encounter to us, yet as we look back, we see how God had been preparing our hearts for this very moment.

We are excited to see all that God has for our family. God is grafting a beautiful story that only He could write.
