Sam: Our day trips and hiking together. Amy: The day he proposed! Breakfast together, drive down to Brown Country State Park, and dinner at Coopers Alley.

Sam: Amy cares very deeply about her family and friends. She has a heart to point others to Jesus. She understands my need for quality time. Amy: Sam loves the Lord and loves those in his life. He is steady and calm. He encourages me to try new things- especially when it comes to food!

Sam: I feel I have seen God throughout our whole relationship. I see God especially in how He brought us together and how He is drawing us together as a family. Amy: There have been so many. The theme that stands out is that I see how God has been preparing Sam for our family and giving him a love for us. On our families' hardest day... Sam and our pastor had a God moment, and our pastor asked Sam to pray for us. In our darkest hour, Sam was praying for us years before our love story would begin.
