Will I get to see the ceremony?

The ceremony will take place earlier in the day, and attendance is limited to parents, siblings, and grandparents.

Who is invited to the cocktail hour/dinner?

The dinner and cocktail hour are for immediate family only (parents, siblings, grandparents, & aunts/uncles). You should have received a physical invite in the mail.

What time does dinner start?

Dinner will be served at 6:30pm. Please arrive before or by 6pm. Once again, this is for immediate family only (parents, siblings, grandparents, & aunts/uncles).

What time does cocktail hour start?

Cocktail hour starts at 5pm. Once again, this is for immediate family only (parents, siblings, grandparents, & aunts/uncles).

What’s the dress code for the dinner?

The dress code is cocktail attire. No jeans please!

What time does the NYE Celebration start?

The NYE Celebration kicks off at 9pm, but feel free to come and go as you like!

Wear your best NYE outfit! We are SO excited to ring in the New Year with you all <3

Will there be food served at the Reception/Celebration?

Yes, sliders will be brought around at 10 PM, but please note that this is not a full meal, so be sure to eat beforehand!

Is there parking available at the venue?

Yes, there’s a parking garage behind the hotel. The cost for the garage is $2/hour, but max of $10/day. Valet is $36 a night for hotel guests, or $18/day for non-overnight stays!

Are there any accommodations or hotel blocks reserved for guests?

Yes, we have hotel blocks reserved for both 12/30 and 12/31. Please call (515) 528-7733 and mention Sam & Steve’s Wedding to receive our special room rates. Kindly book by December 3rd.

Is this a child free event?

To allow all guests to enjoy a relaxed evening, we respectfully request no children at the event. We appreciate your understanding!
