Cincinnati has so much to offer and we hope you will be able to take an extra day or two to enjoy the city. Below are a few of our favorites in the area or feel free to reach out if you want any specific suggestions! We have also pulled together a map with more suggestions!
Washington Park is right across the street from The Transept. It is a beautiful city park that always has something fun going on. Grab a drink at The Porch bar within the park and play a game on the giant Connect 4!
Smale Park is a beautiful place to take a walk. Grab a seat on the swinging benches and enjoy the views of the Ohio River and Northern Kentucky.
The Cincinnati Art Museum is just a quick drive up to Mt. Adams (or a hike up the hill along with the new Art Climb stairs for those who want a workout). General admission is free! Make an afternoon of it and walk around Eden Park which offers great city views.
The Cincinnati Zoo is consistently a top rated zoo and is a great place to spend an afternoon. Make sure to visit Fiona, the famous hippo!
Findlay Market is a historic farmer's market at the north end of Over-the-Rhine. There are a ton of great vendors offering produce, meat, breads, and wares. It is a fun place to walk around and grab a bite to eat from one of the many stalls or restaurants surrounding the perimeter or a drink in the biergarten,
Rhinegeist offers great beers plus a rooftop patio at the north end of Over-the-Rhine. Be prepared to walk up a few stories of stairs just to get to the main tap room, but you will be rewarded with an ice cold beer and good views on the rooftop!
We might be biased, but we think The Fix is the best spot in the city to grab a coffee or a beer.
Visit the top of the Carew Tower on a nice day to see beautiful, panoramic views of Cincinnati and Norther Kentucky. There is an elevator most of the way up, but you will need to climb a few flights of stairs. Admission is cash only, so make sure to stop at the ATM before heading up.
Over the Rhine, or OTR as it is locally known, is a walkable neighborhood in Cincinnati just North of downtown. The majority of shops, restaurants and bars can be found along Main Street and Vine Street, but there are hidden gems throughout the whole neighborhood.
