Garrett, Sam's cousin, was born just under a year after Sam. For as long as Sam can remember he and Garrett have been friends, growing up together, adventuring out in the woods, playing video games, and playing school sports together. As they've gotten older they often find time to catch up over a beer, golf, board games, or video games.

Sophia and Lily first met in 1st grade while waiting for their elementary school bus when Lily nearly peed her pants! Somehow this interaction led to a lifelong friendship that continued into West Chester University together, where shortly after, Sophia met Sam, and the 3 of them would meet up for meals at the dining hall together. Lily has always been one of Sophia's most reliable friends and has been there for her every step of her journey!

In middle school, Nate and Sam met at their first flag football team practice when their fathers who both volunteered to coach quickly recognized each other as old friends from growing up in Darby, and neither knowing the other was in Lancaster! Sam and Nate became great friends too, and over the years have only gotten closer, bonding over fishing, hunting and a love for the Eagles. (Go birds!)

Sophia's longest friendship began in Kindergarten when Maggie and her would spend their time at recess running full-blown spy operations with imaginary dogs and filling their pockets with rocks. Sophia was weird at that age but is so glad Maggie stuck around for it. Their friendship stayed strong over the years, and Sophia and Maggie always find time pick up right where they left off. Be sure to catch Maggie's amazing dance moves at the wedding!

Danny, Garrett's older brother, was once a source of torment for Sam and Garrett, but as they grew older, Sam and Danny grew much closer. After being a groomsman in Danny's wedding, Sam and Danny started to keep in touch much more frequently, and keep in touch constantly while keeping up with everything from fitness to gardening to local breweries and more.

Sophia first met Juliette in their freshman year of high school when Juliette saved Sophia from the embarrassment of having gum stuck in her hair. This was the first of many times that Juliette showed how supportive of a friend she is. Juliette and Sophia worked together on the school literary & art magazine, raced in cross-country & track, and enjoyed dancing like no one was watching at many prom nights. Always down for the next adventure, Juliette now lives in Florida, but despite the distance, the two have stayed very close often sharing pictures of their beloved pet birds!

Born only two years apart, Sophia and Ike are jokingly nicknamed “the twins”. Ike has been Sophia’s confidante and go-to person for anything and everything. Ike and Sam quickly hit it off over a mutual love of football, video games, and golf. Ike frequently took trips out to visit the couple in Lancaster before beginning his career in the Space Force. Sam and Sophia have recently enjoyed the excuse to visit him in California and Colorado!

Sophia first met Priyal in middle school and grew especially close over the years with frequent sleepovers, sometimes even lasting a full week long! Priyal went on to pursue her degree in Boston, MA and Sophia and Sam had a blast while visiting her there, and chatting about National Parks and Indian cooking. The couple loves seeing the Gupta family and their adorable dogs!

Adam, Sophia's youngest brother, was only about 8 years old when Sam and Sophia started dating, and has grown into a fun, creative, and talented young man. Sam and Adam got along quickly by goofing around and talking about anything under the sun at family gatherings. The couple is so excited to attend all of his baseball games as he begins pitching at Millersville University this fall!

Sophia and Helen first met in elementary school and continued to stay close over the years including many family trips to the Poconos and catching up over dinners with friends. Helen has always been the funniest person in the friend group and Sophia admires her ability to connect with everyone and bring excitment everywhere she goes!

Sam met Kevinn shortly after he started to date his sister Lexie and as their relationship got more serious, Sam and Kevinn bonded over a mutual love of sports, and Sam's constant pestering about Ecuadorian culture and whether or not Sam's Spanish was correct (it was not). Sam was asked to officiate Kevinn and Lexie's wedding and jumped at the chance to share his thoughts about his sister and her new husband.

Lexie is Sam's oldest sister and she has inspired his passions of travel, learning about new cultures, languages, sipping tea, and reading. Sophia has enjoyed getting to know Lexie more when she and Sam shared an apartment in Conshohocken, and enjoy swapping ghost stories. Lexie and her husband, Kevinn, have just welcomed their first son, Luca into the family!

Sam first met Reece when he first began to date his sister Maddie. Reece is a man of few words, but Sam and him continue to bond over their shared love of sports, sports betting, and craft beers. Sophia enjoys that Reese will always partake in cracking open some craft beers during family gatherings.

Maddie is Sam's older sister by two years and they always have been the best of buds getting into all sorts of trouble. Maddie has always been Sam's go-to person whenever he's needed someone. Maddie and Sophia have similar creative minds and have bonded over backyard bonfires and drinking on river floats.

"Rawra" is Sophia's little sister by 15 years! Despite this large age gap, Laura and Sophia have always enjoyed making art together and going for coffee trips. Over the years, Sam has helped foster Laura's love for cooking and baking. Laura actually doesn't even remember a time before Sam and Sophia started dating and has taken it upon herself to start planing their wedding even before the engagement!
