Q + A

Where exactly is the wedding?

The wedding will be held on a private property, set on thousands of acres of beautiful farmland. It’s located just outside Ridgway, up in the mountains near Loghill Village. There isn’t an official address, but there will be a sign pointing you toward the wedding and a large white tent to help you find the celebration. For the exact location, please refer to the Google link on the homepage of our website. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!

What should I wear?

The dress code is cocktail attire, but please keep in mind that the wedding will be outdoors on farmland in Colorado in early June. For both men and women, comfortable shoes are essential—avoid narrow heels or shoes with pointy toes as they may sink into the grass. We also recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater, as the temperature can drop in the evening.

What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive between 3:30 and 4:00 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30, and arriving within this window will ensure you have plenty of time to get settled and avoid any disruptions. There will be refreshments, time to mingle, and an audio guestbook where you can leave a special message for the couple.

Are plus ones allowed?

To keep our celebration intimate, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

Are kids allowed?

While we love kids, we’ve decided to keep the celebration adults-only to ensure a more relaxed atmosphere. The bride’s nieces will be the only children present, as they are part of the wedding as flower girls. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy a kid-free evening with us!

Where should I park?

There will be a sign marking the wedding location. You’ll turn onto a dirt road and park along a fenced area. There should be plenty of parking, so please no parking off the main road!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by April 26th so we can finalize our headcount and make sure everything is perfect for the big day. We’d love to celebrate with you, so let us know if you can make it!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

In early June, Ridgway, Colorado, typically experiences mild and comfortable weather. Average high temperatures are around 75°F (24°C), with lows near 45°F (7°C). The area receives about 1.12 inches (28.4 mm) of precipitation during the month, so while it’s generally dry, it’s a good idea to be prepared for light rain. Given the elevation, evenings can be cooler, so consider bringing a light jacket or sweater.

I have dietary restrictions. What will be served for dinner?

Please list any dietary restrictions in the designated section when you RSVP on our website. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs so everyone can enjoy a delicious meal!

Should I bring a gift to your wedding?

You’re absolutely welcome to bring a gift! There will be a gifts and cards table at the wedding. However, we know traveling with a gift can be tricky, so feel free to visit our registry on the website where you can have gifts shipped directly to our home address.

Will the ceremony and reception be outdoors?

The entire wedding will take place on beautiful farmland. The ceremony will be held outdoors, surrounded by stunning scenery. For the reception, we’ve rented a large tent to keep everyone comfortable while still enjoying the outdoors!

Will restrooms be available at the venue?

Yes! There will be luxury restroom trailers on-site, complete with sinks and all the essentials to keep you comfortable.

Is there an official end time to the wedding?

We have the private property all to ourselves for the night, so there’s no official end time or grand exit. Feel free to stay and enjoy the festivities as long as you’d like!

What if it rains?

The wedding will go on rain or shine! The ceremony will still take place outdoors, but we have a large covered party tent to keep everyone dry and comfortable for the rest of the celebration.

Will transportation be provided to/from the venue?

Transportation will not be provided, so please plan accordingly for getting to and from the venue. We want everyone to be able to stay and enjoy the celebration for as long as they’d like!
