For all of our out-of-state guests, you must experience a Wisconsin cheese shop! This one and Ehlenbach's Cheese Chalet are both super close to the reception venue. Us Wisconsinites aren't called the cheeseheads for nothing!

The best restaurant to celebrate my Norwegian heritage and they also have the BEST pie!! We both love the Chocolate Peanut Pie the most :)

A great place for a local waterpark, working out, and playing sports. Also, my first job! I worked here as a lifeguard for over 5 years.

I may be biased but I think WI has the prettiest capital. Best hidden gem in the capital is the fourth floor observation deck. I also love going to the farmers market outside during the summer!

This is one of my favorite spots to get ice cream in Madison! I love being by the water and the cute aesthetic.

The local zoo is FREE! Fun fact: when I was a child, my favorite animal exhibit was the tigers and Sam's was the orangutans.

This is one of our favorite spots to hike and adventure in WI! It is only about 45 minutes from Madison and worth visiting sometime.

One of our other favorite cities is La Crosse, WI! If you get the chance, it is worth exploring. It is where we both we to undergrad and where we both met! It will always carry a special place in our hearts. These are our favorite places to visit in La Crosse:
