Where is the wedding taking place?
Our wedding will take place at Ostertag Vistas in Myersville, Maryland. The address is: 11847 Easterday Road Myersville, MD, 21773
What time should I arrive?
Our ceremony will start at 3:30 pm, and our reception will be at 5:00 pm. We kindly request that you come no later than 3:00 pm to find your seat for the ceremony. A target time would be anytime between 2:00—3:00 pm; come early, commune with some friends and family, and enjoy the venue!
How do I RSVP?
Please RSVP online using the RSVP link at the top.
When should I RSVP by?
RSVP as soon as possible! However, our RSVP cutoff date is June 1, 2024.
Is there a dress code?
We don’t have a formal dress code. However, we encourage you to dress your best! For women, throw on your best fall dress. For men, feel free to rock a suit or go more casual with slacks and a dress shirt. Whatever you wear, please keep in mind that the day will be warmer and the fall weather in the evening may cool off significantly. Lastly, we request that no women wear any white dresses or attire; this will be reserved for the bride on her special day!
Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony will be taking place outdoors and our reception will be indoors.
Will there be air conditioning?
The reception area is both heated and air conditioned. We will ask the venue staff to keep our guests comfortable with the climate control in relation to the weather the day of.
What can I expect from the ceremony?
Our ceremony will be no longer than 30-45 minutes. We will have a short, traditional ceremony, statement of vows, say I do, and then we're off to the reception fun!
What can I expect from the reception?
We will have plenty of fun at our reception! We will have time for a traditional cocktail hour for those that are not participating in the wedding pictures with the photographer where our hors d'oeuvres will be served. We will then serve our food, have our traditional dances, then open the floor up for dancing for everyone, as well as some yard games outside.

What will the weather be like?
We are hoping for a warm, sunny, fall day! However, if there is rain in the forecast closer to the day, our venue has options to seat everyone inside for both the ceremony and reception.
Where can I park?
There will be plenty of parking on site at Ostertag. There will be Ostertag Vista staff directing where to park prior to the ceremony.
Which airport is closest?
The Hagerstown Regional Airport is the closest airport that usually has flights in and out from most medium and larger sized airports along the east coast. However, BWI in Baltimore is the closest larger airport for longer distance travelers that can’t fly into Hagerstown.

What’s for dinner? Will food be served?
We will have passed/stationed hors d’oeuvres served during the cocktail hour while the bride and groom take pictures. These will be the mini pulled pork tacos, assorted cheese, crackers and Fruit . Food will be served buffet style from our caterer, P.I.G.S BBQ. We will be having a traditional chicken and beef option, though it is buffet style, and you can help yourself to both! We will be having beef brisket and smoked chicken. There will be sides of coleslaw, mac and cheese, baked beans, rolls, and a phenomenal jalapeño cheddar cornbread.
Will alcohol be served?
Yes, we will have champagne for a toast to the newly wed couple, as well as an open bar with a limited selection of specialty drinks of the bride and grooms choosing.
How can I let you know about my dietary requirements?
Please let either the bride or the groom know directly about any of your concerns.
Are children invited?
We are requesting you abide by what is on your formal invitation. If your children or a plus one is listed, feel free to bring them along!
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the venue and all locations are handicap accessible and ADA compliant.
What COVID-19 measures will be in place on the day?
If it was socially acceptable before the pandemic, we’re good now! We won’t be taking any COVID precautions, such as social distancing, requiring masks, or requesting testing. Do what makes you comfortable.
Are you using a gift registry service?
Yes, we have a registry through Amazon, and have a cash and honeymoon link you can feel free to contribute too.
Should we bring gifts, or send them ahead of time?
You can send gifts ahead of time or bring them to the venue to set them at our gift table.
Will you be changing your name(s)?
Yes, the couple will be Mr. and Mrs. Caleb and Samantha Anthony.
Can children attend the ceremony and reception?
Our ceremony and reception will both be on site. If your children are listed on your invitation, we would like to have them at both the ceremony and reception!
