Livraria Lello is one of the most famous bookstores in the world for two reasons: (1) the common claim that it inspired Harry Potter author JK Rowling and the Hogwarts library and. (2) that it's found on countless lists of the world's most beautiful bookstores. There is usually a long line so you may want to reserve a ticket and get there early!

This bridge spans the Douro River and connects Porto to Vila Nova de Gaia. It is pedestrian accessible and offers a view of the Cais da Ribeira, a riverfront promenade and marketplace.

We did this wine tour while we were in Portugal in 2023. They give some Portuguese wine making history, while providing local cuisine.
