How do I get there?

The Stone House is accessible from Highway 1 North. Highway 1 is currently CLOSED above Limekiln State Park, Currently, you can not access The Stone House from Carmel using Highway 1. Please contact Samantha or Brian for any clarification around traveling.

What's the status of Highway 1?

As of 12/08/2023, the District of Santa Barbara stated the expected re-opening of Highway 1 in "Late Spring of 2024". Currently the highway is closed North of The Stone House, causing travel southbound to be lengthy. Please see the two examples via google maps. For the most recent updates on Highway 1, visit:

What time should I arrive?

Please give yourself time to arrive by 3:30 PM. The ceremony will start at 4 PM. Guests are encouraged to arrive early due to the remote nature of the venue.

Where do guest's park?

Sole access is by private gated road. The property has easy direct entry from Highway 1 by car, no need for a four wheel drive. There is a large grass lot before the paved driveway of the venue to accommodate your vehicle.

What is the weather like this time of year?

Expect mild temperatures of 77 degrees during the day, with a gentle sea breeze. Expect lows of 58 degrees after sunset. Heaters will be provided for the comfort of our guests. It is recommend that guests bring a sweater and/or blazer for the evening.

What is the dress code?

Please dress in cocktail attire, we want you to look and feel your best during our celebration! It is recommended that you bring a coat or sweater, as the entire event will take place outdoors on the coast. (see weather FAQ) In keeping with wedding traditions, it is requested that guest do not wear red or white/cream/beige dresses.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The entire celebration will be held outdoors. The events will be held on paved ground, however at times you will be walking on grass or dirt. The grounds of the property span 40 acres of uninterrupted views of the Pacific Coast. We highly recommend flat soled shoes or wedges so our guest's can take advantage of the property and explore.

Where are you registered? Should I bring a gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all! However, if you wish to honor us with a gift, a cash gift would be very welcome. Our guests can contribute to our Honeymoon via VENMO, this website (it has a small fee), or envelope at the celebration.

Can I bring a plus one?

All guest's can bring a partner, it is on your RSVP.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Please RSVP by July, 1st 2024. RSVP is 100% online. Access the RSVP tab on our website.

Are children or dogs welcome?

The property allows the attendance of children and pets. However, the property is located on a cliff overlooking the ocean which can be dangerous for unsupervised children and fur babies. Please discuss any concerns or the attendance of children or pets with Samantha or Brian prior to the event.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Due to the nontraditional nature of the travel plans of our guest's we did not block a hotel. We want our guests to have the freedom to explore the beautiful Pacific Coast. Hotel recommendations are available on the "Travel" tab. Tent and RV/Trailer camping is available at the Stone House for $100 per night. Please contact Samantha or Brian for details.
