Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Please RSVP online

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by February 15, 2026

What is the address of the wedding ceremony and reception?

Historic King Mansion, 2201 N Front Street, Harrisburg, PA 17110

Is there parking available near your venue?

For guests within driving distance of the venue, there is free on-site parking but it is limited so carpooling is recommended

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors on the front lawn. Cocktail hour will be an hour of exploring the mansion's grounds, rooms and expansive balconies. The reception will take place indoors. Guests will walk to the lawn on paved pathways, but will need to step on grass briefly to take their seats. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels might not be recommended

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Yes, there are many accommodations at King Mansion. The front lawn has a paved sidewalk down the middle, and a ramp located towards the back of the mansion to enter the first floor. Inside, there is an elevator to access both floors

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Best Western Premier – The Central Hotel for our wedding guests. Please reference the Travel tab for more information

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s) for the wedding and/or prewedding events?

There will not be a shuttle service provided. We recommend renting a car, carpooling with other guests, or using a ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft. Taxis are also available in the area. If you need help coordinating transportation with other guests, feel free to reach out, we’re happy to help connect people!

What should I do if I don’t make it into the room block?

You have until February 19, 2026 to reserve your room using our group block and receive the discounted rate. After that date, the block will be released, and rooms will be subject to availability at the hotel’s standard market rate. If you miss the deadline, you’re still welcome to contact the hotel directly to inquire about availability - but we strongly encourage booking early to guarantee a room and the group rate

What’s the best airport to use?

Harrisburg International Airport is the closest airport. Next best airport is the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport if you plan on renting a car and don’t mind a short drive - this airport can be more financially friendly as well

What’s the dress code for your wedding?

Our dress code is “Pink Tie” - an elegant twist on cocktail or semi-formal attire. Please dress your best for an evening that blends garden party charm with sophisticated celebration. We encourage guests to incorporate pink (our primary color) or red into their outfits for a cohesive and festive look. Suits, cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, full length gowns, or refined dressy separates are all welcome. To maintain a vibrant atmosphere, we kindly ask that guests avoid black where possible. Please see our Dress Code tab for inspiration and further information. We look forward to seeing everyone dressed beautifully and ready to celebrate!

What is the weather and climate like in the area?

Early April in Pennsylvania tends to be the start of spring, so weather can be mild but unpredictable. On average, daytime temperatures are 62°F while evenings can dip into the 40’s. It is wise to bring a light jacket or wrap, just in case!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

We are not allowing plus-ones to our wedding, as we’d like to keep the guest list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated

Am I allowed to bring my children?

We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under 18 on our wedding day. There are a few little ones who will play a small role in the ceremony. We hope you can still join us!

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

We’ll be serving hors d’oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit down dinner with a choice of entree. Please let us know if you have any special dietary restrictions with your RSVP

Will there be an open bar?

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception, however, we do recommend bringing cash or a credit card along if you would like to tip or join the afterparty, as drinks after the reception will not be covered

Could you give me a link to your wedding registry? Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! We are so grateful to have everything we need, and your love and support mean the world to us. In lieu of physical gifts, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing or sending anything. If you’d still like to contribute, we’ve set up a honeymoon fund to help us celebrate our first adventure as newlyweds. You can find the details under our Registry tab

What’s the wedding itinerary?

Our wedding will take place at King Mansion on April 4, 2026. The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm sharp, followed by cocktail hour and the reception, which is anticipated to wrap around 10:00pm

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

The venue will open half an hour ahead of our ceremony time at 4:00pm. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to park, grab a drink and find your seat

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an afterparty?

The wedding reception will conclude at 10:00 PM. As for an after party - we haven’t made any official plans yet, but we may head out to a nearby bar or gathering spot to keep the celebration going. We’ll share more details closer to the date, so stay tuned!

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, which means we kindly ask that phones and cameras be put away during that special moment - you’ll be invited to take a few photos at a designated time during the ceremony, and we’ll have a professional capturing the rest so you can be fully present with us. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you like! King Mansion has stunning halls, balconies and gardens we’d love for you to enjoy and photograph. Don’t forget to tag us so we can see your lovely shots too!

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Yes! Just a friendly reminder that photos and videos are not allowed during the ceremony

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Absolutely - it's #theJAMwedding . Our friends gave us the nickname JAM early in our relationship, and it's stuck ever since. We'd love for you to use it when posting photos!

Where will wedding updates be posted?

Additional updates or changes that need your attention will appear on our wedding website homepage

Is there anything I should bring as a guest?

Our ceremony is planned to take place outdoors, and since it’s early April in Pennsylvania, the weather can be a bit unpredictable. We recommend bringing a light jacket, shawl, or small blanket to stay comfortable in case it’s chilly. In the event of rain or snow, the ceremony will be moved indoors - so no need to bring an umbrella. Also, we are kindly requesting no physical wedding gifts. Your presence truly means the most to us. However, if you feel compelled to give something, a contribution to our honeymoon fund would be deeply appreciated. You can find more details under the Registry tab.
