We met as friends in 2014 in Lexington, KY. Part of a mutual friend group exploring the new found freedom that was the post-college world. Life took us in different directions as we both focused on building our careers. And over the next eight years we lived separate lives, occasionally crossing paths while visiting Kentucky.

Then, by chance, we reconnected in a town an hour away from where we first met. This time, the connection felt different.

What started as catching up turned into something more, and soon, our friendship grew into love.
