Like many modern love stories Brandon and Samantha met online in April of 2018. At the time Brandon was attending the University of Illinois at Chicago - Pharmacy school and Samantha was at the University of Minnesota for undergrad. Funny enough, Brandon was from Minnesota and Samantha was from Illinois. During the summer of 2018, Brandon came back to Minnesota to work and Samantha was also staying in Minnesota to work at CVS pharmacy.

Their first date was Applebees in May of 2018. They hit it off right away and immediately bonded over their love of drugs. Brandon quickly asked for a second date, in fact, he asked Samantha for another date before the day was over. Over that summer, they grew closer and officially started dating on July 3rd, 2018. At the end of the summer it was back to school and they started a distance relationship for the next couple years. There were lots of facetimes and phone calls over months as well as many miles driven between Minnesota and Illinois. Over that time they celebrated birthdays, went apple picking, fishing and Twins games.

The year 2020 was crazy for all of us, Samantha and Brandon included. Samantha finished up undergrad online and Brandon finished his rotations online as well. The good thing that happened was that Brandon got to move back to Minnesota a few months earlier than expected! They got to spend more time together and with everything closed Samantha even had to learn to cut Brandon’s hair! They both graduated from undergrad and Pharmacy school in May of 2020.

After they graduated, they moved in together in Blaine, MN. Brandon was working as a Resident Pharmacist and Samantha was working as a nursing assistant while preparing for applications to attend school to be a physician assistant. These were busy times, but they enjoyed living in Minnesota despite the weeks of negative temperatures. Although these cold conditions included silver linings such as lots of ice fishing and lots of time watching our favorite reality TV shows.

In May of 2021, Brandon received a job offer for Medpace in Cincinnati, OH. They were very excited but had to pack up quickly since they had a 5 week turn around to get from Minnesota to Cincinnati. Luckily, everything worked out and they made it to Cincinnati in July of 2021. They had a great time exploring the new city, especially the new foods (Goetta anyone?)!

In October of 2021, Samantha was accepted to Kettering College Physician Assistant program which would start in May 2022. As they continued to explore the city, Samantha was preparing for school and Brandon was working hard at Medpace. If they weren’t busy enough they brought home their handsome puppy Winston in May of 2022! Winston, a golden retriever-bernese mountain dog mix, went from a rambunctious 10 pound puppy to an 80 pound sweet boy. He certainly made life interesting for Samantha and Brandon which included early morning walks and daily cuddle sessions.

As 2022 moved along, Brandon proposed (about time!) to Samantha in November in a small intimate setting with the help of their beautiful dog Winston. Of course Samantha said yes and in typical Samantha fashion - she immediately began wedding planning. With Samantha still in school they decided to take two years to plan the wedding. They have been busy planning since then and all the details have been coming together. They are very excited to celebrate with everyone and are excited for what the future has in store!
