Once upon a time, Samantha bought herself a condo and was in dire need of furniture. On her day off from work, Sami and her parents made their way to Raymour & Flanigan.

Randall, a furniture salesman, was training a new hire when Sami and her parents came in. While browsing the store, Sami and Randy got to talking and learning about each others likes.

A few days later, Sami returned to the store to make her purchase with Randy. He was with another customer when she got there so he handed her his iPad and asked her to go wait and read. Happy as a clam, Sami found the reading chair she was buying, pulled up a book on the iPad and settled in to wait.

Not too long after, Randy returned to Sami and they got started on the paperwork.

"Do I have to click this button?" Sami asked pointing to a check box to run her credit score.

"Yes, that is to get approved for the financing," Randy replied. So, Sami clicked the button and they finalized the paperwork for her furniture purchase.

A few minutes later, in casual conversation, Randy realized Sami was closing on her condo and NOT renting. This was the first time he ever made the mistake of running someone's credit while closing on a home....

Luckily, the sale was not impacted and Sami agreed to go on a date with Randy the following weekend!

And so the story of Sami and Randy begins...
