Dresscode

What do I wear?

Semi-Formal Attire Women: Wear something you feel beautiful in! Floral dresses would be perfect for this occasion! I would recommend something light as it can be pretty warm here in NC during June. Our wedding colors are summer wildflowers and incorporate over NINE different colors, do not worry about clashing! Please do not wear white or any dress/jumpsuit that has a mostly white base! Men: Please wear either a suit or slacks and a jacket. Tie is optional but encouraged. It can be hot in June so please plan accordingly.

What shoes should I wear? (For the Ladies)

Part of our venue is on grass, please wear blocked heels or wedges to avoid sinking into the grass. Sam highly recommends looking into Pashion Heels (pashionfootwear.com)! They are convertible high heels (customizable and changeable) that can be converted into flats! Sam will be wearing her Pashions all night! Use Code: SAMANTHAM to get 25% off your order!

Attendees

Can I bring my kids?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be Adults Only (21+). Thank you for understanding.

Can I have my phone/camera out to take pictures during the ceremony?

We appreciate that everyone wants to document such a special moment, but please refrain from having your phone or camera out during the ceremony. We hired professionals to help document this special moment and want to have everyone be present in the moment and not distracted by devices. Please respect our wishes for an UNPLUGGED ceremony! Thank you! During the reception however, take all the photos you would like!

What will be for dinner?

We are serving our dinner FAMILY STYLE! Meaning platters will be delivered to each table and passed around like a family dinner. This will give everyone a chance to try everything we are serving! We will be serving a classic southern style dinner featuring smoked brisket and pork. Our venue asks that due to the size of the celebration, you please only let us know of medical allergies and strict dietary restrictions. We want to ensure everybody has the proper accommodations and appreciate your understanding.

Is it an Open Bar?

Yes! We will have an amazing selection of local Asheville beer (ON DRAFT!) as well as a white, red, and bubbly wine. We will also have a selection of liquors and mixers and two signature cocktails. Please abide by our venue's rule and do not bring your own alcohol to our wedding. We can't wait to celebrate with you! PLEASE BRING YOUR ID! GUESTS UNDER 40 WILL BE ID'd! (Photo of ID is not valid)

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Please DO NOT bring any of your own beverages to our venue. The venue has restrictions only allowing alcohol that is served by the venue to be consumed on property. Please do not bring any flasks, shooters, or any other alcoholic beverage not served by our venue onto our venues property. Thank you!

Lodging

Where should I stay?

If you are in the bridal party, please reach out to Josh or Sam about your lodging accommodations surrounding our wedding. If you are a guest, please look at our "Travel" tab! We highly recommend guests book an Air B&B or VRBO local to our venue, we also recommend that our guests book with other friends or family to keep the love and community vibes going before and after the big celebration! If you prefer to stay at a hotel, our venue is approximately a 15 minute drive (Uber/Lyft ride) from Downtown Asheville.

How do I get to the venue from where I am staying?

We will not have a universal shuttle to and from our venue. However, Asheville has a local rideshare services similar to Lyft and Uber called AVLRide and AVLHopper that will take people to and from our venue when they would like to arrive or leave. We highly highly recommend booking those services in advance. Do keep in mind there is an after party in a house adjacent to the property if you would like to attend that. There is a parking lot for those who choose to drive, however, if you plan to drink, PLEASE utilize the ride share and do not drink and drive.
