While not technically family, Dan is family to Sam and Josh. His trips to LBI with the Prince’s solidified him as part of the fam, and his last minute trip with Megan down to Durham was one of Sam and Josh’s fondest memories. He is pursuing his passion for helping others through his residency at University of Maryland at Baltimore! He is an incredibly kind and thoughtful person, and just the kind of guy to help you tie to knot!

Rachel, as Sam's cousin born only a year and a half after Sam, has been there like a sister for her. They grew up together, spending time with their Oma and Rachel's younger brother, Austin. They share so many memories together so when it came time for Sam to pick a Maid of Honor, it was a "no-brainer".

Josh's older sister, Megan quickly became one of Sam's favorite people after meeting. She is funny, caring beyond reason, and a lover of animals (especially dogs). Sam and Megan bonded for the first time sitting on Sam's back porch after bottomless mimosas talking about life, and have since bonded over My Hero Academia, houseplants, competing over whose dog has the bigger "blep" (it's Jo), and overall just sharing good vibes all around.

Josh's younger sister, Gillian, just like Megan quickly became like family to Sam. She is compassionate, funny, and adventurous. Gillian is always Sam's go to person when it comes to planning, fashion, and honestly anything wedding planning related (she is better at aesthetics than me). She always has the perfect eye for getting things exactly how you want. She is exactly the kind of sister Sam has always wanted! Gillian is finishing up her undergrad at The Ohio State University and has big plans for an amazing new job after she graduates in May!

Sam met Addie through Sean (Addie's Husband) and one of Josh's best friends (and groomsmen)! Addie and Sam grew closer as they spent more time together painting ceilings, playing boardgames, and the occasional game of Hot Ones! Addie is caring, goofy, and the life of the party, never failing to bring smiles to everyone in the room!

Sam met Rachel through Mike (Rachel's Husband) who is another one of Josh's groomsmen! Alongside Addie, Sam became close to Rachel as they spent more time together, coining their little group "The NC 3". Many memories have been made together and many will continue to be made! Rachel is a Doctor of Occupational Therapy and brings kindness, smiles, and compassion to anyone she encounters!

Sam met Megan in college through their sorority, Sigma Kappa. They quickly hit it off and became close. They shared many midnight McDonalds/Sonic runs and many late nights giggling at random videos on the internet. While they currently live 12 hours apart, they do their best to keep up with one another and keep the best friend vibes immaculate! Megan is spunky, kind, and a lover of ALL animals (especially dogs, reptiles, and horses). She is currently finishing Dental School in Memphis, TN!

Sam met Maddie right before starting college through the Ignite program at UT Knoxville. They both then rushed the same sorority, Sigma Kappa. Throughout college they got close and shared a lot of memories together. They were supposed to go to Disney together in March 2020, but unfortunately the pandemic changed those plans. Maddie is smart, funny, and caring, and is finishing her PharmD at Lipscomb University.

Ryan is Josh's best friend. They have known each other since before they can remember, and bonded as the short non-athletic guys on all the same sports teams. Football, basketball, elementary school, middle-school, high-school, old friends, new friends, college, golf, thick, thin, they have been through it all. He is crushing it in Manhattan, enjoys DJing, and is embracing his new Greek lifestyle.

Brent has been one of Josh’s longest friends. They first bonded through church basketball, and have stayed close friends for years, with fantasy football and golf trips with the boys keeping them connected. Easily Josh’s wittiest friend, Brent can be counted on keep things fun, entertain Josh’s more “intellectual” interests, and is one of the most thoughtful guys he knows.

Dylan has always been one of Josh’s most fun friends. They bonded through church basketball and being neighbors, with fantasy football and golf trips keeping them connected. Always the life of the party, Dylan is your one stop shop for keeping the energy, drumming up chatter, and is one of the most dedicated guys Josh knows.

Sean is one of Josh’s closest friends. They got to know each other through homeroom and robotics in high school, and stayed close through the Mets and both ending up in North Carolina. Sean can make anyone feel like his best friend, isn’t afraid to say the quiet part out loud, and is one of the most honest guys Josh knows. Sean is bridesmaid Addie Proske's husband!

Mike is one of Josh’s most trustworthy friends. They got to know eachother in high school physics and just generally being little shits together in high-school, and stayed close through meet-ups and both ending up in North Carolina. Mike never lets it get too serious, is up for crazy shit, and is one of the most loyal guys Josh knows. Mike is bridesmaid Rachel Lamont's husband!

Jamison is one of Josh’s most supportive friends. They got to know eachother in college as hallmates and eventually roommates, and stayed close through camping trips. Jamison is a great conversationalist, is up for anything fun, and is one of the nicest guys Josh knows.

Jimmy is one of Josh’s most trustworthy friends. They got to know eachother in college as hallmates, roommates and snowboarding buddies. Jimmy doesn’t let the hangouts get boring, is always looking for adventure, and is one of the most responsible guys Josh knows.

Sam adopted Evie in October of 2020 and they have been inseparable ever since. She is originally from Florida, but loves her retirement in NC. She attended Josh and Sam's first date as an adorable third-wheel and Josh has accepted her as family ever since. She loves running at the park with her friends, nap time on the couch, Greenies (name brand especially), and most of all, time with her humans. She can't wait to celebrate with everyone and be a part of her human's special day!
