Our Wedding

Samantha and David first met when Samantha sent him a Snapchat of her NYC apartment view, to which his response was "would you like to go out sometime"? Samantha replied, "Sure, but I live in NYC now". They talked every couple of days but Samantha didn't think anything of it since her true relationship was with dental school. Samantha returned to Chelmsford one weekend and David asked her on a date. The rest is history. Samantha drove home almost every weekend to see David. Most of the time she would be studying, but they made time to go on adventures, have dinner dates, and make memories. Samantha and David planned a vacation at Mount Washington Hotel Resort and Spa in October 2022. They explored the mountains, restaurants, and breweries and went horseback riding. Little did Samantha know, David had an important question for her. On October 8th (Samantha's birthday) they went on a horse-drawn carriage ride during sunset. They pulled over onto the golf course and David proposed to Samantha. Romantic right?! How they never crossed paths in the Chelmsford High School hallways is still a mystery. After over 4 years together, we can't wait to celebrate with all of you on August 31, 2024!

Where is the Wedding?Birch Wood Vineyards 199 Rockingham Rd, Derry, NH 03038 How do I get to and from Birch Wood Vineyards?Transportation will be provided to and from the hotels. Pick-up and drop-off locations will be at the main entrance of The Holiday Inn and LaQuinta. Pick-up and Drop off at The Artisan Hotel will be at the Parking Lot Hotel entrance. Please ask the front desk where the buses will be located. Transporation at each hotel will depart at 4:30PM promptly. The shuttles will depart Birch Wood Vineyards at 10:00PM, 10:30PM, 11:00PM and 11:30PM. Is there parking at Birch Wood Vineyards? Yes! Parking is available and you may leave your car overnight if you wish. There are Ubers in the area as well. Is the wedding indoors or outdoors? The ceremony will be outdoors pending weather conditions. Should weather prevent an outdoor ceremony, it will be held indoors. Cocktail hour will be outdoor/indoor. The reception will be indoors. Have you reserved blocks of rooms at the hotels? Please see the Travel Section of our website for more information regarding hotels and stay. What is the dress code?Black Tie Optional.What does this mean?&nbsp;We ask the gentlemen to wear tuxedos or dark colored suits.We ask ladies to wear midi to floor length outfits. Please no bright colors.&nbsp; Am I allowed to bring my children? To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation, we respectfully ask that no children attend. What type of food will be served at your wedding? We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner.
