How soon should I RSVP?
We are requesting everyone to RSVP no later than June 6th! If you are able to, we definitely encourage putting in your RSVP sooner.
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
The ceremony will start at 3pm sharp! Please make sure to arrive early and allow yourself time to settle in. The venue is located right at the border of the Rocky Mountain National Park, enjoy the views and the potential wildlife visitors!
WILL THE CEREMONY, COCKTAIL HOUR, AND RECEPTION TAKE PLACE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
The ceremony will be taking place outdoors (weather permitting), cocktail hour will also be outside, and the reception will be indoors. If the weather does take a turn, we will be hosting the ceremony and cocktail hour indoors.
What time will Cocktail Hour and the Reception start?
Cocktail hour will start at 3:30pm, right after the ceremony. The bride and groom will be taking photos at this time. The reception will follow cocktail hour and start around 4:45pm. There will be passed hors d'oeuvres and the bar will be available prior to the reception.
Is the bar open or cash?
We're beyond excited to celebrate with you on our special day! We're hosting a delicious dinner, but unfortunately will not be able to host the bar. So, please bring cash or a credit card for the cash bar if you want to indulge in any alcoholic beverages, as well as your ID. The bartenders will NOT be able to serve any alcoholic beverages to anyone without ID.
We also ask our guests to drink responsibly. If you are attending as a group or as a pair, we encourage everyone to select someone to be a designated driver. Our venue is unable to provide accommodations to any overly intoxicated guests and Uber is rarely an option due to the location.
What is Black-tie optional?
This dress code is slightly less formal than a black-tie wedding. So, a tuxedo isn't required, but can still be worn if preferred. If opting for a suit, however, a formal dark suit, white shirt, and a conservative tie are acceptable. For women, the outfit choices remain the same: a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit.
Can I dress up in Steampunk Attire? What is Victorian Steampunk?
Yes, we do encourage our guests to dress in steampunk attire or add steampunk accessories to their formal wear. We do request that you keep your steampunk look from looking 'costumey' though. Please do not go to a party store and purchase a steampunk costume. We are requesting our guest to dress in cocktail attire, if you are able to incorporate steampunk into that, it would be fantastic, but not required.
This goes into what Victorian Steampunk is. While steampunk as an aesthetic is inspired of Victorian and Edwardian era fashion and setting, we are focusing more on the 'Victorian' aspect in terms of fashion. If you would like some visuals on what this would look like we have added a Pinterest board for your convivence:
