Samantha&nbsp;and&nbsp;Daniel&nbsp;went&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;same&nbsp;school&nbsp;district,&nbsp;however&nbsp;they&nbsp;did&nbsp;not&nbsp;officially&nbsp;meet&nbsp;until&nbsp;Sam's&nbsp;sophomore&nbsp;year&nbsp;and&nbsp;Dan's&nbsp;senior&nbsp;year,&nbsp;June&nbsp;of&nbsp;2014.&nbsp;&nbsp;Sam&nbsp;informed&nbsp;her&nbsp;friend&nbsp;who&nbsp;was&nbsp;also&nbsp;Dan's&nbsp;friend&nbsp;that&nbsp;she&nbsp;was&nbsp;interested&nbsp;in&nbsp;getting&nbsp;to&nbsp;know&nbsp;Dan.&nbsp;Their&nbsp;first&nbsp;date&nbsp;was&nbsp;a&nbsp;day&nbsp;of&nbsp;kayaking&nbsp;which&nbsp;ended&nbsp;with&nbsp;Sam&nbsp;falling&nbsp;into&nbsp;the&nbsp;muddy&nbsp;river&nbsp;bank.&nbsp;Shortly&nbsp;after,&nbsp;Sam&nbsp;dumped&nbsp;her&nbsp;blizzard&nbsp;in&nbsp;Dan's&nbsp;"Grand&nbsp;Priece&nbsp;of&nbsp;Shit"&nbsp;Grand&nbsp;Prix.&nbsp;For&nbsp;whatever&nbsp;reason,&nbsp;Sam's&nbsp;clumsiness&nbsp;won&nbsp;Dan&nbsp;over&nbsp;and&nbsp;they&nbsp;became&nbsp;adventure&nbsp;buddies.During&nbsp;their&nbsp;college&nbsp;years,&nbsp;Dan&nbsp;transferred&nbsp;out&nbsp;to&nbsp;ESF&nbsp;in&nbsp;Syracuse&nbsp;for&nbsp;his&nbsp;Junior&nbsp;year&nbsp;while&nbsp;Sam&nbsp;started&nbsp;her&nbsp;freshmen&nbsp;at&nbsp;NU.&nbsp;Every&nbsp;night,&nbsp;they&nbsp;talked&nbsp;over&nbsp;the&nbsp;phone&nbsp;or&nbsp;sat&nbsp;in&nbsp;silence&nbsp;on&nbsp;FaceTime&nbsp;while&nbsp;doing&nbsp;their&nbsp;homework.&nbsp;Every&nbsp;weekend,&nbsp;Dan&nbsp;would&nbsp;either&nbsp;return&nbsp;home&nbsp;to&nbsp;Buffalo&nbsp;(sometimes&nbsp;carpooling&nbsp;with&nbsp;MOH&nbsp;Nicole),&nbsp;Sam&nbsp;would&nbsp;drive&nbsp;to&nbsp;Syracuse,&nbsp;or&nbsp;they&nbsp;would&nbsp;meet&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;middle&nbsp;and&nbsp;spend&nbsp;a&nbsp;long&nbsp;day&nbsp;exploring&nbsp;Rochester.&nbsp;One&nbsp;of&nbsp;their&nbsp;favorite&nbsp;places&nbsp;to&nbsp;spend&nbsp;time&nbsp;was&nbsp;at&nbsp;Mendon&nbsp;Ponds&nbsp;in&nbsp;Henrietta.&nbsp;After&nbsp;getting&nbsp;through&nbsp;the&nbsp;"long"&nbsp;distance&nbsp;relationship,&nbsp;Dan&nbsp;and&nbsp;Sam&nbsp;decided&nbsp;to&nbsp;put&nbsp;their&nbsp;relationship&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;test,&nbsp;and&nbsp;went&nbsp;on&nbsp;a&nbsp;three&nbsp;week&nbsp;road&nbsp;trip&nbsp;across&nbsp;the&nbsp;country.&nbsp;When&nbsp;they&nbsp;returned,&nbsp;they&nbsp;bought&nbsp;a&nbsp;house,&nbsp;got&nbsp;a&nbsp;boat,&nbsp;have&nbsp;seen&nbsp;over&nbsp;fifty&nbsp;percent&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;country&nbsp;together,&nbsp;and&nbsp;have&nbsp;spent&nbsp;countless&nbsp;hours&nbsp;backpacking,&nbsp;camping,&nbsp;skiing,&nbsp;cycling,&nbsp;running,&nbsp;and&nbsp;overall&nbsp;enjoying&nbsp;life&nbsp;together.&nbsp;In&nbsp;February&nbsp;2024,&nbsp;Sam&nbsp;and&nbsp;Dan&nbsp;returned&nbsp;to&nbsp;Mendon&nbsp;Ponds&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;first&nbsp;time&nbsp;since&nbsp;college.&nbsp;&nbsp;Dan&nbsp;got&nbsp;down&nbsp;on&nbsp;one&nbsp;knee,&nbsp;asked&nbsp;"the"&nbsp;question,&nbsp;finally, and&nbsp;Sam&nbsp;said&nbsp;yes.&nbsp;He&nbsp;then&nbsp;took&nbsp;his&nbsp;fiancee&nbsp;to&nbsp;a&nbsp;member&nbsp;exclusive&nbsp;club&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;$1.99&nbsp;slice&nbsp;of&nbsp;pizza&nbsp;to&nbsp;celebrate.&nbsp;After&nbsp;their&nbsp;Costco&nbsp;trip,&nbsp;they&nbsp;actually&nbsp;celebrated&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;beloved&nbsp;Genesee&nbsp;Brew&nbsp;House.

Daniel is the bride's only sibling. Although they've used each other as punching bags for most of their lives, he is her best friend. He will be helping Sam on her big day, ensuring everything goes right and will be welcoming guests with a special treat.

Nicole and Sam met in eighth grade and have been close friends ever since. The two of them have spent many silly moments together, hysterically laughing their way through basketball seasons and AP classes. Nicole went to college at SU and occasionally car pooled with Dan on their trips to Buffalo.

The groom's only sister and the couple's third wheel. Sarah has joined Sam and Dan on many trips now with many more to come. They are beyond thankful for the many memories they share with their favorite backseat passenger.

Kelly and Sam met at Daemen College. Their love for animals, yoga, and biology made them great friends. Kelly and her amazing pitty mix, Gemma occasionally go on hikes with Sam and her "puppy", Willow.

Ashley and Sam became friends in elementary school. They played softball, basketball, and the clarinet together. Ashley transferred high schools but the two still stayed good friends.

Teagan and Sam met at Sam's first lab job. The two have been coworkers for +7 years. Teagan invited Sam to join her volleyball team when Sam was 19, and they've been playing together ever since.

Mike has been Dan's built in best friend since day one. They've been hiking, cycling, tinkering, and building catapults as long as they can remember. Mike is standing up as the best man, but don't let him get too full of himself with that title.

Michael Wierzba

Jesse and Dan have run way too many miles together over the course of their track and cross country careers. Now they partake in more leisurely activities like frolf. Jesse can always be counted on to bring the party...even when he says he isn't planning on it.

Ryan and Dan have known each other going back to the pre k days playing at their grandmas' houses. He's always down for a camping trip and can cook a mean brisket. Dan had to make sure he didn't get married the same weekend as Ryan, so make sure to congratulate the other newlywed today!

Ryan Kozlowski

Dan isn't sure how he became friends with Rohn, but they've been Cubs scouting, running, ultimate frisbeeing, and frolfing for as long as they can both remember. Rohn brings the moves to every dance floor. 

Rohn Parylo

Ryan is the dad of the group; always on time, ensures everyone gets home safe, and occasionally finds himself using his EMT cert when the group gets together. Ryan can always be counted on to suggest grabbing dinner at Duff's.
