What is the dress code for the evening?

The dress code for the evening is formal attire. This includes a floor length dress, jumpsuit or elegant below-the-knee cocktail dress, as well as a traditional suit or jacket and tie.

Are children invited to the wedding?

While we love all of your children, David and I would like to give all of the parents a night off and kindly ask that the ceremony and reception be 16+ except for immediate family. We hope you are able to accommodate this and can spend the evening partying hard with us!

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by Sunday, September 10th using the tab on the website.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Early October in Upstate New York is the most beautiful time of the year. Highs average in the upper 60s, but the nights are cool and crisp! We will provide blankets for those wishing to enjoy one of the many fire-pits around the grounds of the venue.

Will the ceremony take place outside?

Barring rain, the ceremony will last approximately 20 minutes and will take place outdoors on the grounds of the Sinclair of Skaneateles. The reception will be indoors, but there will be numerous activities and lounge areas outdoors for guests to enjoy.

Am I allowed to take and post photos at the wedding?

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony, as we have hired an incredible team of photographers and videographers that will be sure to capture every moment. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you would like during the cocktail hour, dinner and reception! Feel free to post them, tag us or the wedding hashtag, #keepingupwiththekozaks

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin shortly after 4, so we recommend arriving between 3 and 4.

What will happen immediately after the ceremony?

The reception is inside the Sinclair of Skaneateles and will begin immediately after the ceremony. While the wedding party and immediate family members will be taking pictures, guests can enjoy a cocktail hour and appetizers before the reception officially begins at 5:45.

How can guests travel to and from the venue?

Parking is available at the Sinclair of Skaneateles and guests are asked to pick up their vehicles by noon the following day. We will also be providing a shuttle to and from the Holiday Inn Auburn-Finger Lakes that will begin bringing guests to the Sinclair of Skaneateles at 2:30 and will transport guests back to the hotel at the end of the night. Ubers may be limited in the area so please plan accordingly if you are not staying at the Holiday Inn.

What food and drink will be served at the wedding?

There will be an open bar beginning immediately after the end of the ceremony and will close at 9:30, 15 minutes before the grand exit. Rosalie’s Cucina is the caterer for the wedding, and they serve incredible Italian food. Guests will able to notify us of dietary restrictions or allergies when they RSVP.
