If you're flying to the wedding, the two closest airports are Gothenburg, Sweden and Copenhagen, Denmark. (Stockholm is discouraged as it is a very long journey to Falkenberg).

Gothenburg is marginally closer to Falkenberg, but is not as well connected as Copenhagen. The drive to Falkenberg takes a little less than an hour and a half. It is possible to get to Falkenberg by train, but you will need to take the bus to Gothenburg Central Station and then take a train to Falkenberg. The bus ride is about 30 minutes (for 119 SEK / $14) and the train takes about an hour (for 165 SEK / $19). Please check the train schedule before booking flights, as the last train runs at 11:55pm (and you also need to factor in immigration + baggage claim + bus to the train station).

Copenhagen has a broader choice of flights and is easily accessible by train. A drive from Copenhagen to Falkenberg takes a little over two hours while a train ride takes about two and a half hours. If you decide to take the train, you can buy tickets from a kiosk at the airport. Just select "Falkenberg station" as your destination, and, if asked, you want to select the bridge option and not the ferry option. Tickets cost about 367 SEK ($41) per adult. Please check the train schedule before booking flights, as the last train runs at 8:42pm.

When you arrive at the Falkenberg, there are buses that can take you to the city centre and the hotel. Your train ticket will also include a bus ride. You can look up directions on Google maps (you're heading from Falkenberg Station) but we recommend you also contact us for more detailed directions. You can also call a taxi (+46 346 144 00) - the operator should be able to speak English.

If you prefer not to take a train, it is also possible to rent a car from both airports, just make sure to book in advance.
