It all started on a river while tubing in the summer of 2018. Tyler and Sandra were known for being the single but not ready to mingle type in the friend group, and were very much okay with that.As many know, Sandra would never be considered the most graceful...or one to admit she needs help. Tubing should have been a breeze with her strong swimming background. But alas, her 5 foot wing span made it quite difficult to reach the water from her high perch on the small inner-tube. So, as the group is floating down together on the "lazy" river, Sandra lags behind flailing her arms and legs trying to swim but cannot keep up. This is where Tyler first meets Sandra. Tyler comes to the rescue and weirdly taken by Sandra's struggle, and hooks her onto his tube so they could float down the river together.The next date happens when Tyler is conned into coming to Sandra's birthday party at the Renaissance Fair (Tyler of course completely oblivious that it was even Sandra's birthday). Tyler and Sandra bond over their love/hate relationship for their friends, especially when the friends are trying to play matchmaker for them. But, despite Tyler and Sandra's loathing of their friends' forceful matchmaking, this became the genesis of their relationship and they have not looked back. (They still don't like Renaissance fairs though)Since then, Tyler and Sandra enjoy drinking wine, watching movies, playing games, going for walks, and hosting parties.They can't wait to see everyone at the wedding!
