Our Love Story

It all started in July of 2018 with a click, well a swipe to be more specific - a right swipe that is. I guess you could say we met the modern way. My eyes caught his eye, it was a super match made in heaven at first swipe!

Our first date was definitely one to remember, it was +31 when we met for coffee at Good Earth Coffeehouse and went for a long lakeside walk. Secretly Trevor hoped that I would say it's too hot and to do dinner and drinks at the Brewsters across the street instead. Needless to say, we talked a lot that day and really got to know each other to build our connection the traditional way from the start. From that day we both knew there was something special and the rest became history.

Over the last 6 years we have built a wonderful life together and accomplished so much individually and as a couple. From moving in with each other to job and career changes and the many adventures in between. Our favorite memories and milestones together include travelling to the east coast (taking Trevor back to his roots in beautiful New Brunswick), getting a dog (Scarlett the Frenchie), Buying our first home (in the midst of Covid), and of course getting engaged.

Trevor proposed at Elk Island National Park in front of Astotin Lake on October 29th, 2022. It was our first time there and now is a place that both our hearts will forever cherish. After walking the dock and beach area multiple times we stopped and looked out on the dark wavy water when he said, "I have something for you". The following four minutes were spent watching the sweetest video montage with photos of life over the years ending with a photo of Scarlett (our fur baby) saying, "Will You Marry My Dad?" and him getting down on one knee and asking me to Marry him. After responding "Of Course I Will!" I was surprised by two of our best friends who helped witness the moment and celebrated one of the best days of our lives with us (The stalling finally all made sense).

Fun Facts: It was the windiest day we both have yet to ever experience.

I will be walking down the aisle to the song used in the proposal video.

We're so excited to have you to join us as we say, "I do".

Thank you for reading and see you soon!
