There are couple of ways to get to Fernie, BC. We hope that you'll be able to join us in this special place, even though it's a bit off the beaten path.

- Fly into Calgary, AB, Canada and rent a car (3 hours)

- Fly into Cranbrook, BC, Canada and rent a car (1 hour)

- Fly into Spokane, WA, USA and rent a car (4.5 hours)

- Fly into Kalispell, MT, USA and rent a car (2 hours)

Obviously, airports located in the US necessitate a border crossing by land, so folks heading in from the UK will likely find it easier to fly into Calgary or Cranbrook. As Cranbrook is a smaller city, you'll be able to fly there once you're inside Canada (i.e. Toronto to Cranbrook or Calgary to Cranbrook), and there are regular flights daily.

It's also worth mentioning that we've heard that Kalispell flights can be few and far between, and therefore more costly--but if you find one that's convenient based on your location, that's awesome!

Renting a car in Canada is straightforward from the airport for people from the US and the UK with a full licence. We would suggest booking ahead if this is your plan. Companies like Enterprise and Hertz are great options. Just be aware Canadians drive on the right, use km/h and the cars are automatic!
