In September 2017, I began student teaching at Kreamer Street Elementary School, where I went as a kid. During my first month there as a Kindergarten Student Teacher my colleagues, Deirdre and Sue, pointed out that the security guard seemed to be down the Kindergarten wing more frequently than usual. Sue took it upon herself to let the security guard know I was single and let me also know that she was only going to leave so many hints until I did something about it myself. I am not very forward when I comes to introducing myself to someone I have a major crush on, so it took some time to get crafty. About a month later, my sister and I were out to dinner and she told me she had made a dating profile, so I had this great idea that maybe if I made one, too, I could stumble upon the security guard from my teaching placement. After swiping through until I found Clint— we matched (that means he had to see and like me too🤣)! The next day at Kreamer, I was even more nervous to talk to him since we both now knew we liked each other but hadn’t shared many words. Eventually, I messaged him, “Hey! You look just like the guy at my school.” To which he replied, “Hey! You look like the cute teacher in my building.” We eventually got coffee one day where he ordered himself a French press big enough for 4 people (he didn’t even like drinking coffee that much). Here we are 6.5 years later and I am still not sure how we got so lucky finding each other. The best things happen when you least expect them, and he is the best thing that has ever happened to me🤍
During my first year working at Kreamer street elementary school as a security guard I saw this very cute teacher with amazing legs. I thought, “Wow, it would be so great to find out who she is!” Some of the teachers told me that she was single and that was a great thing to know, but I was too nervous to talk to her in person. A little while later, I was scrolling and swiping on a dating app and I saw Sara! My heart stopped. I was so excited to see her profile, but didn’t know what to say. Eventually, we got to talking and we went on our incredible first date at a coffee shop. From that day, I knew she was the one. After so many years, I can’t believe I get to marry my best friend. Sara, I love you so much!
