If a guest cancels their room it will immediately get released out of your block and back to the hotel inventory. I would advise you to inform your guests of this policy so there is no confusion. Should anyone wish to cancel a reservation they should check with you first to see if you can re-assign it to another guest instead of losing it. Because it is a courtesy contract any cancelled rooms will be released back to the public
