What started as a couple of quick exchanges in our college dorm turned into a lifetime of happiness and love.

On February 7th, 2018, Sara 'shot her shot' and messaged Danny on Snapchat after mutual friends expressed that he thought she was cute. After a series of text messages and study sessions in the computer room, he asked her out to dinner at Joey Garlic's for their first date on Valentine's Day. On February 26th, Danny asked Sara to be his girlfriend and the rest is history!

We both say that it was fate. Danny originally committed to Alfred State in New York but in 2017 he was offered a scholarship through CCSU's School of Engineering. It was a program for out of state students and only 10 were selected for this opportunity...Danny being one of them. We always look back at the decisions we've made growing up and wonder 'what if' we didn't decide to go to CCSU. We would've been living separate lives. However, we are thankful that this is our love story, our journey, and life we created and count our blessings everyday. We can't wait to spend many more years together, hand in hand through it all!
